KC QUICK NEWS: TABLE DANCER #2 ON USEN WESTERN & KC HOLDS JAPAN DANCE AUDITIONS

Good Morning #KCRyders! We've got a new post just for you as we sit idoly by in waiting for something to happen in KC-Ville. In all honesty I really wish that this was explained by Keshia's label instead of us having to dig for it, or it just being announced so Keshia's fans would know what's going on. But you already know that in the near three years of our existence that won't happen from our girl. So... yeah. Moving on to the good news.... - C


KESHIA'S TABLE DANCER RANKS AT #2 ON USEN WESTERN GENERAL CHART WEEK

We're not Japanese so this makes not a bit of sense to us. All we know is that our girl KC is ranking at #2 on the General Chart Week for USEN Western Hits Top 30 Chart. Successfully beating out the likes of other artists like Taylor Swift, Ne-yo and  Carly Ray Jepsen. How notable (relevant) this music chart is in Japan, we're not sure. It makes one wonder though if it's up there along the lines of a Japan Billboard and SoundScan... Anyways, we took a few shots of the website, and you can see for yourself. DANCE AUDITIONS FOR KC BEING HELD AT NEXT MOVEMENT IN JAPAN 10/26!

And also, Keshia's holding dance auditions  Well, [Next Movement] in Japan is anyway. They're scheduled to take place on 10/26 in Japan, supposedly at the studio. NEW PICS: KC'S 2012 JAPAN PRESS TOUR PT 1

Evening #KCRyders! This week our Canadian Princess Keshia Chante, embarked on a press tour in Tokyo, Japan for her third album Night & Day to be released on November 21st, 2012 in Japan. Her first Japan single 'Table Dancer' has already shot to #1 in the ringtone slot, and is doing extremely well as a single just like we at LKC knew it would!

On yesterday Keshia Chantè threw a concert for the lucky winners of the CANFAR "Keshia Hearts CANFAR" contest! Complete with background dancers, and a DJ in tow, Keshia wowed an surprised crowd of Canadian high schoolers from Aurora High School and she performed songs from her extensive catalog, of to which the crowd eagerly sang along. My verdict:

It had me hooked from the first little intro which was cute! To those of you who, like I have never seen KC live, this will be a teaser for her upcoming tour. The production itself is massive! Keshia clearly amps up her overall performance and pulled out some stops this go round.
The great things about this performance:

1.  Ambiance + set up. Four background dancers and a full band? Dancing while singing? I mean, really dancing like she used to dance in the era of her first album "Keshia Chante" type dancing. This was exactly what we were hoping for and that's exactly what we get!
2. Keshia is being herself. She's not trying to be like any of her industry contemporaries which also deserves another plus. 
3. Then there is the fact that even though she could have performed more songs from her new album Night + Day and didn't, Keshia still manages to stay in control of her voice as she dances which is another plus and not to mention she sang her tiny little butt off!

So of course this performance was pretty much perfection to me. By now you should know that I don't say what I don't mean! lol Great job KC, band and dancers!

ETALK INTERVIEW: KC Hunting For the Juno Dress!

Hey KC Fans! I hope that everyone was able to see Keshia look for her dress for the Junos on Friday, if not... NO FEAR! KC went through a bunch of gowns/dresses from designer Romona Keveza. Dress #1 looked like a showstopper in my opinion, Keshia was sure enough giving everyone in the room a little bit of Jessica Rabbit, lol. Dress #2 looked like an after party for the Junos type of outfit and Dress #3 was just so beautiful, so angelic and elegant. The Junos are in LESS THAN a WEEK! It would really be nice if Keshia took home both Junos but if she takes home one statue, then that's good enough. Peep the 1:45 second clip below!

Congratulations are in order for Keshia, after only two days of being on I-Tunes Canada, Keshia is already charting! She now sits at #88 on the Pop Chart & #171 on the Top Charts with her new single, "Set U Free". Table Dancer sits at #12 on the R&B Soul Chart and #129 on the Top Charts! Continue to tell everyone you know about Keshia's new music #KCRyders, especially her new single, "Set U Free". We want her to chart big!

FIRST LOOK: Set U Free/If U Say Single Cover

Introducing the official single cover for Keshia's next two singles, 'Set U Free' and 'If U Say'! How's that for a Valentine's Day gift KC fans? Keshia gifted her fans the single cover shot by Rayan Studios a few hours ago, and it looks absolutely stunning! According to Keshia, the single 'Set U Free' is an upbeat club number similar to the sounds of KC's Candaian hit, 'Table Dancer' and penned by none other than Taio Cruz, with vintage Janet Jackson influences. 'If U Say' is a great heartfelt ballad that Keshia penned herself and produced by the hitmakers VicPark,  which Keshia debuted on her Ustream last year on World Aids Day. The final version of this single has been revamped with new vocals. Also, Keshia stated via twitter that she and the team are working hard to re-open her official website KeshiaChante.Com later on this week. Stay tuned for more updates coming your way.
