She also interacts with fans and does an interview off camera with The Weather Network as well, looking every bit as excited to be there, to share her garden!

RANDOM: Night & Day Alternate Album Cover Revealed!!!

Good Morning #KCRyders! Hope you're having a great Sunday! Also, hope you didn't forget to set you clocks back an hour! lol (Fall back...) Earlier this morning Keshia revealed to her fans via her official twitter @KeshiaChante the amazingly beautiful alternate cover for the "Day" side of her album which is inside of the album booklet you'll receive upon purchasing the new album on Tuesday, November 8th, 2011.

ETALK INTERVIEW: KC Hunting For the Juno Dress!

Hey KC Fans! I hope that everyone was able to see Keshia look for her dress for the Junos on Friday, if not... NO FEAR! KC went through a bunch of gowns/dresses from designer Romona Keveza. Dress #1 looked like a showstopper in my opinion, Keshia was sure enough giving everyone in the room a little bit of Jessica Rabbit, lol. Dress #2 looked like an after party for the Junos type of outfit and Dress #3 was just so beautiful, so angelic and elegant. The Junos are in LESS THAN a WEEK! It would really be nice if Keshia took home both Junos but if she takes home one statue, then that's good enough. Peep the 1:45 second clip below!

Keshia went to Riverdale Collegiate School for CANFAR's 'Have a Heart' Campaign just hours before her interviews with New Music Live & Much Music (Much also filmed her and the team on duty). She gave out autographs and spoke to her fans along with selling 'Heart-O-Grams'! Everyone at CANFAR, Team Chante and even KC herself, had a GREAT time at Riverdale! Take a look For Yourself!


KC & VicPark's wrap up of 'If U Say'
After hard day at work in the studio, Keshia and the INCREDIBLE production team VicPark just put the finishing touches on her next single 'If U Say'. The producers and Keshia were just being silly once the studio session was done, it showed us a side of KC and VicPark that was very much fun. It wasn't serious or ego-driven, just positive vibes all the way! That is where the smash singles come in! Not when you have an award-winning producer and songwriter working with you but when you have a good time recording the song and have producers that are going to collaborate with the artist. Along with the right promo, 'If U Say' will be a SMASH without a doubt! Check it Out!

Right after her work with CANFAR was done, Keshia stopped by Much Music and New Music Live to discuss her work with CANFAR, the new album, etc. This is a Behind the Scenes look at her before she went live on Television with the interviews. You will see her getting ready for her interviews, being silly and just have fun both on and off the camera! You can even hear a snippet of her single 'Set U Free' throughout the video! QUICK NEWS: Table Dancer & Test Drive Go For I-Tunes-US Adds In Febuary

According to KC manager Jen, she tweeted to us via twitter that Table Dancer & Test Drive will go for US-Itunes adds on either the 1st or 2nd week in Febuary. She also tweeted that the album is going through final revisions. Keshia recently tweeted about prepping to shoot her album cover shoot as well. A lot of good things are on the horizion this year for Keshia so keep it locked!

We know that you as KC fans have some burning questions about KC's upcoming project. We're here to give you the answers as promised!


What's KC's new project going to be called?
 It's official, KC's 3rd Album will now be titled, "Night & Day" as apposed to the recent title, "The Vendetta". Her new album will be the product of a two-disk produced effort, "Night" being one side of the project with 6 uptempo club records, the other being "Day" with 6 midtempo R&B tracks. Keshia's label will be releasing two singles at once, 'Table Dancer' being the single from 'Night', 'Test Drive' being the single from 'Day'.

When will "Test Drive" be released as a single?
Keshia's label Universal is looking towards the end of September for radio and I-Tunes adds in Canada. A massive Global release will occur a few weeks after for the US, ect. No concrete date as of yet but the end of September is the projected time.

What's up next for KC while we wait for the release of 'Test Drive'?
We recently posted about a photoshoot KC tweeted on for Canada's, Sway Magazine's 'Powerful Women' issue. The magazine will be hitting stands in October. We also said that KC was going to be shooting a video for her second single really soon. The video for the second single, confirmed to be 'Table Dancer' (which KC previewed along with "Jersey Up" on her 1st Ustream broadcast) will be shot in October as well! KC will also be attending the BELL Gala, and attending October's Toronto LG Fashion Week.

As we obtain more info on Keshia's upcoming project, "Night & Day" we will post it right here on LKC.

Upcoming: New KC interviews on ETalk & ECanada

We heard from a valid source that KC's interviews from last week on the set of 'Test Drive' will be airing sometime this week. ETalk CTV's is supposed to air today sometime and E Canada's will air later on within the week. Are you excited? We are! That means we finally get to hear the single, even if it is just in snippet mode.

Quick Update: KC Album News

Are you ready for Chante Season? It's coming... We know you've been anxiously awaiting the new project as we here at LKC, and Marc of Team Chante has informed us and confirmed that the lead single for KC's new album has been opted out from "Hang My Jersey Up" for the song "Test Drive" (Produced by Chris Perry who also did Keshia's smash hit, "Bad Boy"). Hence the little tweet we got from Ms. Chante yesterday. It's also been confirmed that there will be a music video shot for this single!  As far as an album release date? KC & the team are shooting for an early November release. More information will be released as it becomes available to us here at LKC. Keep it locked!

Chanté @ Biddell Show, Heart Truth fitting, and Album News!

Ms Chanté is definitely a girl on the move this week!  After getting fitted by Jason Meyers for her Heart Truth dress which she'll be wearing today and interviewing with Tricia Campbell Hall of FILLERmagazine, she also spoke to LaineyGossip about her new album, which Chanté revealed will be dropping in June!

Also, last night she attended designer Evan Biddell's Runway Show for Fall/Winter 2010 and sat with Canadian artist Massari. She was also in a skit during the show which she tweeted about via her twitter. The amazing Team Chanté  managed to upload a few photos from the event last night, which you can view below. There will be more as they are uploaded and we shall keep you posted.

VIDEO & INTERVIEW: KC @ Ontario House

This is a lovely time for a new video from Ms. Chante, being that news for the moment is at a standstill. Check out this video below where Canadian R&B artist June Black along with our girl, Keshia Chante, bring the heat to Ontario house. Keshia comes in at the :57 mark. And there's also a mini interview which sadly gets cut short. In this interview she expresses her pride of being not just a Canadian, but an artist as well and how being from Canada allowed her growth and opportunities as an artist.

ARTICLE: JCSmith speaks on "Dead To Me" by KC

Remember that we spoke about Keshia having a new song on her new album entitled, "Dead To Me" (JC Smith/Keshia Chante/Roz Bell) via our Twitter & here on LKC? Well, one of the songwriters that co-wrote with Keshia on that song, JSmith recently posted a blog (Feb 23rd) on the progress of the song at this point. You can read his quotes via his blog** below:

Worked all night finishing the demo for Keshia Chante’s ‘Dead To Me‘ (JC Smith/Keshia Chante/Roz Bell).

Anyway…already zapped it over to my publisher this morning – and also to Roz (who just responded – and he’s diggin it). Invoice for demo also sent to publisher. Cool beans.

I like this song a lot. It holds a lot of personal meaning for Keshia. But, I gotta say…I think everybody lives (and dies) through the scenario detailed in this song at least a couple of times during their all too brief time on this terra firma.

All that aside…the production on this one is kind of interesting too?…think Madonna’s ‘Frozen’ mixed with One Republic/Timbaland ‘Apologize’. Of course, those are just reference points…this song is definitely it’s own thing…as it should be.
