LISTEN: STEPHEN HILL SPEAKS ON KESHIA CHANTE ON THE RICKEY SMILEY SHOW

Submitted by Albert (@koolkidincash93)

Hey #KCRyders! Here's a sound bite for you! In case you didn't already know Stephen Hill is the president of BET's music programming and specials on BET. He also was the one that introduced Keshia's music to the 106 + Park audience back in the day with her video 'Bad Boy' as well as her cameos in campaigns like 'BET's Rap It Up' Campaign back in 2006. In this new exclusive interview with The Ricky Smiley Morning Show, Steven talks about why he chose our girl KC to be the new co-host and what he believes she brings to the table.

You can click here to listen to Stephen's interview with The Rickey Smiley Morning Show.

Shoutout to Albert for the heads up!

KC Performs at ET Canada NYE Part I

KC Performs at ET Canada NYE Part 2

My verdict:

It had me hooked from the first little intro which was cute! To those of you who, like I have never seen KC live, this will be a teaser for her upcoming tour. The production itself is massive! Keshia clearly amps up her overall performance and pulled out some stops this go round.
The great things about this performance:
  1.  Ambiance + set up. Four background dancers and a full band? Dancing while singing? I mean, really dancing like she used to dance in the era of her first album "Keshia Chante" type dancing. This was exactly what we were hoping for and that's exactly what we get!
  2. Keshia is being herself. She's not trying to be like any of her industry contemporaries which also deserves another plus.
  3. Then there is the fact that even though she could have performed more songs from her new album Night + Day and didn't, Keshia still manages to stay in control of her voice as she dances which is another plus and not to mention she sang her tiny little butt off!
So of course this performance was pretty much perfection to me. By now you should know that I don't say what I don't mean! lol Great job KC, band and dancers!

WATCH: KC Live @Contiki Eurobash Event

Submitted by Albert (@koolkidincash93)

Get ready to have a jam session with Keshia! Keshia's performance at Contiki's Eurobash has surfaced and Keshia knocked this performance out of the park! You've seen tweets from Contiki (Canada) and even The Broken Heel Diaries about how outstanding and amazing Keshia did, now you can see for yourself. With a rousing introduction by her childhood mentor, singer/songwriter Shawn Desmond (Does He Love Me, Spinnin'), the ever poise and classy Keshia Chanté commands and captivates her audience from the moment she sets foot on the stage. With live band in tow, Keshia elegantly and effortlessly breezes through some of her past hits (Been Gone, 2U, Bad Boy), and her new chart topper 'Table Dancer'! For the first time ever, Keshia also performs her new single "Set U Free" taking her dancing skills up yet another notch. She even goes so far as to bring her band members to the forefront and gets the audience involved in a little sing-a-long. It's safe to say, Ms Chanté is all grown up now! Are you ready for the takeover? Night & Day is due out this spring, stay tuned because tomorrow is Round 2 of Keshia's Contiki performances, in Vancouver. Enjoy the full twenty-minute set below in LQ!

Part I (Table Dancer, Been Gone, 2U)
