Here we have the first professional photos of KC on the Dare To Wear - Runway. What a great way to end LG Fashion Week S/S 2011! Hopefully you were able to catch KC in action on the live streaming link we posted. KC's outfit was designed by Adrian Wu, and in my opinion she looks like a vintage Victorian- Era Barbie. lol You can check out three photos from the show below. Very creative.
Also, KC will be holding a casting call for male & female dancers for her upcoming music video, "Table Dancer" which has now been rescheduled for shooting on Monday, October 25th. (October 7th) Test Drive + Table Dancer Hit Canadian I-Tunes!
The long awaited wait for KC's new single 'Table Dancer' and the viral single 'Test Drive' ended last week when they were made avalible to Canadaian fans on I-Tunes (Canada). For those of you outside of the US, never fear! Please be patient as both singles will be hitting mainstream I-Tunes in a few weeks for you to purchase.

'Table Dancer' Video Shoot Rescheduled
The video shoot for the first single lifted from KC's upcoming album 'Night & Day' has been pushed back according to a recent tweet by our Canadian princess:
Had to push back shoot date for Table Dancer video by a few days..might get our dream location to film in! It'll be well worth the delay!
No word as to when the video will be shot, but we will keep you updated. She did meet with renound Canadian director RT who will be shooting the video this week to tie up a few loose ends. Watch this space for further developments.

KC Attends Bell Celebrity Gala + Toronto's Pre- LG Fashion Week (S/S `11)
KC has been on the move this week attending various fashion shows after the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday over the weekend. On Tuesday, KC attended fashion designer, Evan Biddell's Spring/Summer `11 show. Below is a photo of KC with Evan Biddell via friend (@katia_aitak). Last night, she attended the Bell Celebrity Gala, and based off her tweets she had a great time. Keshia will also be attending Greta Constantine's Spring/Summer `11 show tonight.

E Talk Interview (FULL)
I know that you all might have questions as to when the interview with ETalk will air and the projected date that we'd been given was October 4th. As of this moment we don't know when it will air, but should it air, we shall post it for your viewing pleasure if we can, for those of you outside of Canada. Our assumption is that the interview will hopefully air this month.
Premiere Dates for 'Table Dancer' + 'Test Drive' Videos
Unless it comes from a vaild source that we're able to trust we usually do not post information on a whim. However, it's been made known to us that the projected release date for the 'Test Drive' video will be next week on Tuesday October 19th.
Aaliyah Movie
Only bringing this up because there has been a lot of hearsay on twitter. Now if you recall on the Ustream that we taped from about 6 months + ago. KC clearly stated that:
1) She had been asked to play Aaliyah
2) The timing was not right, therefore you can believe that AS OF NOW THERE IS NO MOVIE.
3) The only certification of said movie will be if we post news on LKC exclusively or if KC tweets it via twitter herself, until then. Nothing that's being said else-wise is fact. Don't believe us? Watch for yourself.
Yep you heard correctly, KC is going to start blogging. Now if you're a die-hard fan from 04, you all remember when KC first made her mark back in 2004 she did blog on her official website as promo for her debut self-titled album, Keshia Chante. Since the evolution of her second album 2U, that site has since been shut down and now all of KC's blogs revert back to her myspace (which currently also doubles as her official website) where on which she posts a blog on her page, or her team does on how she's doing every few months. Curious as to what type of blog she'll decide to get, or if she'll in fact keep this blog up. She tweeted about getting the idea from Bad Boy artist, Cassie Ventura. I do know for a fact that Singer Tiffany Evans has a tumblr.com account (Tiffany's Heart) which is fairly simple to set up. Tiffany blogs about her everyday life and posts pictures of her self doing normal things like hanging out with her friends. She just recently started a tour as well and instead of waiting for her label to promote it she promoted it her self via her twitter and her blog. What I like about Tiffany is the fact that her hunger as an artist is still as was when she first came on to the scene when she was approaching her teens. She's raw and organic with her promo methods and how she reaches out to her fans. Let's hope that KC will follow along with it.
KC sited on her Ustream that Aaliyah definitely inspired her as an artist. Today marks the 9th year of the anniversary of her death. There have been talks of a movie in tribute to her life for the last few years, but none has come to fruition as of yet. KC has been in talks to play her, but still no word yet. Today is the day we celebrate the life & legacy of the outstanding and amazing artist known as Aaliyah. We here at LKC would like to wish our Canadian R&B Princess Ms. Keshia Chanté a very happy 22nd birthday today! We hope that your birthday is everything that you want it to be and more. For those of you that didn't already know, KC shares her birthday with Rapper TuPac who would have been 39 today. You can check out a video of her paying homage to him right before she breaks out into her smash hit, "Unpredictable" below. We've been rocking with KC for almost a decade, eight years and counting and pretty soon we'll be hearing that new album, but patience is key! “I love going to Wasaga Beach in Ontario. My family and I go there in the summer and it’s so relaxing and peaceful. I can recharge at the beach while staying close to my home in Toronto. It’s a great spot to spend quality time with my family, and my puppy is even allowed on the beach with us! We play music and barbeque all day long. It’s just a great time!”
Over the weekend KC paid a vist to Pleasure & Pain tattoo shop in in Mississauga, ON. She didn't get a tattoo though, according to A-Bomb just hearing the machines was a little much. lol. The two pics above are KC at the shop so enjoy.
Two years ago, KC did an interview with Lainey from ETalk at Calgary Stampede, where she talked about creating a perfume, her then new album 2U, and several other things. News about our Canadian R&B princess is relatively on a stand-still for now until her first single from her highly anticipated 3rd album is officially released. She's currently in the studio working on her new album and recently tweeted, that the album is "close to completion"; which means the first single should be hitting the airwaves within a matter of time. BE ON ROLL PLAY – PREMIERE SPECIAL
This 30-minute special taped at Toronto’s Canada’s Wonderland is sure to get preschoolers at home up and moving. A narrative-focused concert featuring guest performances by Keshia Chante and Patrick Pentland of the band Sloan has audiences interacting with the story through various coloured ribbons, beach balls and bubbles. A Sinking Ship and Treehouse co-production, fans of the popular Canadian series Roll Play might even be able to spot themselves in the crowd when Be On Roll Play premieres on Saturday, April 17 at 6 p.m.

Today, Feb 11th marks the 1 yr. Anniversary of Vision TV's "SOUL". The series in which Keshia starred in as Mahalia Brown. The show ran for one season, from February until March giving a us as fans an inside look into Keshia's acting skills as a Mahaliah Brown, a teen who was torn between the struggle of remaining committed to her faith and the quest for pop-stardom. The show only aired in Canada, but @kchantefans (if you're not following them on twitter, stop what you're doing right now and follow them at www.twitter.com/kchantefans!), the first original American fan-site for KC were gracious enough to allow us to see the entire show in full last year so those of us state-side didn't miss out. The SOULTV You Tube Channel also uploaded the entire season to YouTube for your viewing pleasure. I have to say that Keshia and the entire cast did a phenomenal job on this series and the message that it sends is a strong, yet positive one.
