WORLD PREMIERE: "I MISS U" MUSIC VIDEO

Evening #KCRyders! Feeling like a proud big sis right now. This is video that we as #KCRyders have been waiting for. It doesn't need an introduction, but we're pleased to present to you the newest music video from our girl Keshia Chante, "I Miss U" Directed by Marc Andre Debruyne (Shooting Star, Set U Free). It premiered today on Much Music's New.Music.Live. where KC also judged a dance contest as well.

As far as this latest cinematic masterpiece from Ms. Chante? In essence you'll get to see what a day in the life of her is really like, and cameos from all of those close to her whether it be family, friends and most importantly her special guy. The concept is simplistic, but it's carried out extremely well, and I'm proud to say that this is the best video Keshia's ever made in her entire career. Good Morning #Ryders! Hope that you had a great weekend, and enjoyed your day off from school and or work, via the Veteran's Day holiday on yesterday. Be sure and thank anyone you know who is a veteran and or currently active in the service, not just on Veteran's Day but everyday because they fight and have fought to keep us all safe! On Tuesday of this week, our girl Ms. Keshia Chante visited the ever popular Much Music's, New.Music.Live. where she talked about her new album, the new Tuesday releases, and donned her trademark KC "2U era" logo imprinted jacket (SN:  So why are they NOT using this logo on the back of her jacket as a universal logo for this woman instead of the current one I don't like???)  and performed a reserved and confined version of her new single, "Edit, Cut + Delete U". Keshia even allowed us a peek inside of her closet to us #LadyRyders (coined by our boy Albert aka @koolkidincash93) which would probably be a girl's best friend! Lol!

My performance verdict:
I'm not gonna BS you on her performance, but it wasn't as good as she could have made it.  My guess on that and the other two Shooting Star performances (Canada AM + Breakfast TV) I saw this week that were pretty lackluster was that she was saving her voice for all her back to back shows... You can be the judge for yourself and watch below.

UPCOMING: KC To Attend Juno Fan Fare 2011 @ Much Music

The Junos are almost here KC fans! Are you ready and excited to see if our girl Keshia Chante will take home her two Junos she's been nominated for? Juno weekend 2011 is set to be crazy intense and jam packed with some of Canada's hottest stars being interviewed, giving fans autographs, Much with their freebie giveaways, and live performances. On March 26th, 2011, the day before the The Junos Awards, The Junos are taking over Much Music this year for Juno Fan Fare 2011. Keshia will be in attendance along with other Juno nominees. No word yet on if she's performing, but I have a feeling that she may just perform her new single 'Set U Free'. If she did, you know that would be a great promotional effort right? Right. Today, Wednesday, March 23 at 5:00PM at MuchMusic wristbands for the Juno Fan Fare were given out. They  will be on a first come, first served basis. And don't worry if you weren't able to be at Much, Virgin Mobile Members can also enter to win VIP wristbands right HERE.

Keshia went to Riverdale Collegiate School for CANFAR's 'Have a Heart' Campaign just hours before her interviews with New Music Live & Much Music (Much also filmed her and the team on duty). She gave out autographs and spoke to her fans along with selling 'Heart-O-Grams'! Everyone at CANFAR, Team Chante and even KC herself, had a GREAT time at Riverdale! Take a look For Yourself!


KC & VicPark's wrap up of 'If U Say'
After hard day at work in the studio, Keshia and the INCREDIBLE production team VicPark just put the finishing touches on her next single 'If U Say'. The producers and Keshia were just being silly once the studio session was done, it showed us a side of KC and VicPark that was very much fun. It wasn't serious or ego-driven, just positive vibes all the way! That is where the smash singles come in! Not when you have an award-winning producer and songwriter working with you but when you have a good time recording the song and have producers that are going to collaborate with the artist. Along with the right promo, 'If U Say' will be a SMASH without a doubt! Check it Out!

Right after her work with CANFAR was done, Keshia stopped by Much Music and New Music Live to discuss her work with CANFAR, the new album, etc. This is a Behind the Scenes look at her before she went live on Television with the interviews. You will see her getting ready for her interviews, being silly and just have fun both on and off the camera! You can even hear a snippet of her single 'Set U Free' throughout the video! Check out some archived video footage of Keshia performing 'Little Things' at Much Music in 2006. She was there to promote her sophomore album '2U' and also performed 'Been Gone' as well. A couple of her background dancers were on hand to capture KC in her element as she performed for the Much Music crowd. My how her vocals have grown since then! Enjoy!

This past Tuesday, Keshia appeared on New Music Live, via Much Music and Much was able to sit down with Keshia and talk about all that she's been up to in their green room. Keshia spoke with them about her philanthropic work with CANFAR, as well as the upcoming Juno Awards 2011 in March and her new album Night & Day. She looks very ecstatic and bubbly! The always fashion-forward & philanthropist, R&B star Keshia Chanté was busy spreading her positive vibes as Youth Ambassador for CANFAR today. She began by volunteering over at Riverdale Collegiate to help sell Heart-O-Grams to spread awareness & raise funding for CANFAR research.
