KC QUICK NEWS #9: SUNSHINE SKETCHES FT. KC TO GO TO DVD IN EARLY JUNE

Hey #KCRyders! Get ready to support KC in a major way once more! According to the Official Facebook of the movie "Sunshine Sketches In A Little Town" that KC recently appeared in, it will be made for DVD release in early June!

The Sunshine Sketches DVD release is scheduled for early June. Watch this space for more details!

 How exciting is that? Very if you ask me, especially if the DVD is made for shipping and purchase internationally. It will be a great day for us as #KCRyders because it'll be the first film with KC in it available for purchase! We'll keep you in the know regarding the details as they come!

Now if only Vision-TV could hop on the same wagon and get us the SOUL Series staring KC, iSH and Mpho on BET and DVD for international release? Oh yes, then we'd be in business.

KC QUICK NEWS: KC AWARDED A MuchFACT FOR "I MISS U"

Morning #KCRyders! Shoutout to our boy iSH [actor (KC's televison co-star on SOUL) & rapper] for the info. He tweeted to Keshia on yesterday the following:

congrats to my tv sister @KeshiaChante for the muchfact! Much love!

Of course had to do a little research and so upon doing said research I found out that Keshia was awarded what's called a MuchFACT, an award to help assist with the production of the music video for her new single "I Miss U". This is a great award, and thus it'll result in a quality music video, not leaving the funding solely on her label Tanjola. Clearly it's a God-send so, I now understand a lot more why Keshia taps Canadian resources to use for her videos because look at the funding Canada offers to support its own! Even so I hope that she enlists a director from the states at least once because she deserves a Melina-Anthony Mandler- Collin Tilley directed video as much as the next person.

Keshia is among one of 54 recipients of the award. Congrats to Keshia & Tanjola! Can't wait to see the video treatment!

UPDATE: TODAY IS VISION TV'S SOUL'S 1 YR. ANN.

Today, Feb 11th marks the 1 yr. Anniversary of  Vision TV's "SOUL". The series in which Keshia starred in as Mahalia Brown. The show ran for one season, from February until March giving a us as fans an inside look into Keshia's acting skills as a Mahaliah Brown, a teen who was torn between the struggle of remaining committed to her faith and the quest for pop-stardom. The show only aired in Canada, but @kchantefans (if you're not following them on twitter, stop what you're doing right now and follow them at www.twitter.com/kchantefans!), the first original American fan-site for KC were gracious enough to allow us to see the entire show in full last year so those of us state-side didn't miss out. The SOULTV You Tube Channel also uploaded the entire season to YouTube for your viewing pleasure. I have to say that Keshia and the entire cast did a phenomenal job on this series and the message that it sends is a strong, yet positive one. We've posted the entire SIX-episode series in HQ via YouTube for your viewing pleasure in FULL after the cut. Enjoy!
