Next week will be a week of constant activity , especially with our girl Keshia Chantè's guest judge appearance on Top Chef Canada which was announced a few months ago.  Top Chef Canada Season 2 (Episode 11) airs Monday, May 21st, 2012 on Food Network. Introducing the first magazine cover of 2012 from our girl Keshia Chanté, for Urbanology Magazine. KC did tweet a few months prior around Juno Awards time that she was in the middle of photoshoot, and now we know what the product of that hard work was. The interview, and cover has yet to be posted to UrbanologyMag.Com, but as always we'll keep you posted #KCRyders! Now, if only Seventeen Magazine, Flare, and Verve Girl would have KC on their cover this year!

Hey #KCRyders! Another day, and another new hilarious, yet informative episode of of The Next Star (Season 5) Star School. This time judge Tara Oram is back with part two of of her class, entitled "Sing It/Bring It" Part 2. This time she gives advice on how to prepare yourself before taking on a huge audience by simple meditation. You can watch that, and KC being introduced to the childhood game, Red Hands aka Slapsies through Tara and Mark. See Tara's knowledge and wisdom below, and find out how KC fairs in Slapsies too!

WATCH: TNS5: STAR SCHOOL EP 3 - SWAGOLOGY - BY KESHIA CHANTÈ

Evening #KCRyders! Today, The Next Star KC and the co-judges Mark & Tara made their latest stop in Edmonton, Alberta today! Here's the latest edition The Next Star (Season 5) Websosde: "Star School" entry by none other than our girl Keshia Chantè, the third and final judge on the panel. KC's episode is appropriately entitled, "Swagology". In KC's video she offers advice on how you can enhance your style and stage presence as well as impress the judges with simple adjustments to your posture and above all, eye contact and confidence. You can watch below as Keshia offers up her advice in her Asian-inspired look on which she tweeted she absolutely loved! You'll also discover how the ever hilarious TNS Season 5 judges recreate the classic Boston Cream doughnut with their own little 'remixed' recipe below.

NEW VIDEO: BTS "I MISS U" MUSIC VIDEO DAY 2

Good Morning #KCRyders! Oh you're in for a real treat! A new "Behind The Scenes" video has surfaced for KC's new music video "I Miss U" which features a host of familiar faces, family and friends that KC's acquired through her career & life over the years: Her Aunt Chantel (she was in the BTS of Set U Free if you look closely), her two cousins Michelle & Jess, her best friend Daniel (@djonesproducer), her long time manager and friend Jen Hyland (@jenhyland) make cameo appearances in this second half of a two-part series.

In true Tanjola style, of course the video for the second day of her video shoot was released first before day one, something a bit similar to when KC shot the video for "Test Drive" back in 2010 and hadn't released the single yet. lol Either way, according to KC major props go to Antoine Biko (@AntoineBiko) for capturing this inside look because he created the amazing BTS video you'll see below. Hopefully KC & Tanjola keep Mr. Antonie on the roster from here on out regarding her BTS videos from here on out. The short visual is a clean, consistent video and it looks like a mini documentary of KC's life. #Winning!






And don't forget that KC will be performing the single for the first time on Breakfast Television Edmonton this morning! The full music video premieres on Thursday, May 24th, 2012 on Much Music on New.Music.Live.

Good Morning #KCRyders! Enjoy a new promotional photo of KC for YTV's The Next Star! Today is Day 2 of the six-city wide tour KC & co-judges embarked on in search of Canada's next Tween/Teen sensation for "The Next Star" Season 5! Today's stop takes them to the beautiful city of Montreal! (SN: Our girl Cat from #TeamLKC resides in that neck of the woods! ^_^ )

WATCH: NIGHT & DAY ALBUM COMMERCIAL

Blink, and you'll miss it. Evening #KCRyders! It's been a long time coming for the album commercial for KC's new album to be posted here on LKC. We checked in with our #KCRyder & #KCRST Member @JaneRepsU for verification on if this was the actual commercial and she says that low and behold it is the official "Night & Day" commercial.

To be honest, was expecting some live shots, kind of like how Rihanna did with the commercial for her album "LOUD" (excuse me for comparing...) because to our knowledge wasn't KC shooting a commercial for her album? Maybe I misread this back in March:

If you were expecting something ground breaking & breathtakingly epic, you won't find that here. But for what it's worth at least she has a commercial out there, and you can't fault her label for actually trying. So they get kudos for the effort, after all it is promo, and that's what KC deserves & needs.

However, on to bigger news! This week keep your eyes peeled, word on the street is the music video for #IMissU is supposed to be released this week, with some kind of teaser. If word is true, it'd be a week before schedule... For now, enjoy the commercial!

NEW INTERVIEW: B101 INTERVIEWS KESHIA CHANTE FOR YTV'S THE NEXT STAR & MORE!

Good Morning #KCRyders! Hope you all are having a great Saturday! Today is the kick off for "The Next Star" city-wide search for YTV's "The Next Star", beginning in Halifax, Novia Scotia! (SN: Happy Belated Birthday to KC's co-judge, Tara Oram!)

To promote the show, KC called into Barrie's B101, this past thursday (April 26th) to chat it up with DJ Chris, about starting her career in her early teens much like the hopefuls on the show "The Next Star" Season 5 will be. She also chatted about her duties as a "Next Star" judge, gave her personal advice on how to do your best at auditions as well as chatted on the infamous question about her friendship with Rap sensation, Drake, otherwise known to her and loyal Degrassi viewers by his given name, Aubrey Graham.

She also said that she expects the music video for her current single, "I Miss U" to drop next week, (A week earlier than originally scheduled...) and says that it has a personal an imitate story-line attached to it, and that it's the most open she's ever been in a music video. On last night our girl KC attended the 2nd Annual Media + Celebrity Charity Poker game, "Stack Chips For Remix" in Toronto, Canada, Hosted by The Remix Project!  According to attendees, our girl KC plays a mean game of poker that had her other counterparts heading for the hills! This deems to be yet one of many hidden talents of the star that we've discovered.  Also in attendance along with her was manager Jen Hyland, fellow Tanjola label mate Q-Benjamin and former co-star Mpho Koaho (Jamil Foster from the Vision TV series, "SOUL".  More pictures & video footage as they emerge.

KC QUICK NEWS #9: SUNSHINE SKETCHES FT. KC TO GO TO DVD IN EARLY JUNE

Hey #KCRyders! Get ready to support KC in a major way once more! According to the Official Facebook of the movie "Sunshine Sketches In A Little Town" that KC recently appeared in, it will be made for DVD release in early June!

THROWBACK THURSDAY: FALLEN FT. DRAKE

Well, since it's Thursday, and you our fellow #KCRyders inspired today's throwback theme, here it is! Fallen by KC Ft. Drake. Here's a fun fact that you may or may not know about the song:

According to KC, the song was "originally meant to be released as the next single following '2U', however her then label, Sony BMG decided that they didn't want to release it as a single instead went with the alternate version featuring Freeway", which is the one that made the album's final tracklisting.

Well, I bet Sony BMG is regretting that choice now. But you live and you learn. Drake is one huge force in the rap game now, worldwide. That in itself leaves one to wonder why KC and Drake have yet to team up again. One can only hope... Listen to the throwback remix of Fallen by KC ft. a young Aubrey Graham below:
