BREAKING: KESHIA CHANTE JOINS W NETWORKS 'HOCKEY WIVES' SEASON 2

After a much needed hiatus, we're back blogging again. So let's get right into it. Here's some fresh news for you #KCRyders! It's official, KC has joined the ranks of women like 'Nene Leekes', and  'Bethenny', if those names sound familiar it's because they're both TV housewives and moguls. Our girl KC has now officially donned the hat of 'Housewife' and will be joining W Networks, 'Hockey Wives' Season 2 starting this fall. The announcement was made on Tuesday, with Keshia rewtweeting several outlets confirming the news. In addition, she also filmed a short interview segment with ET saying, 'You're gonna get it all, I'm probably going to say something offensive', in regards to letting her entire personality come through on the show.

You can bet we'll keep you up-to-date with the latest episodes once they air. Congrats Keshia!

#KCRydersJapan are in for a real treat because the Canadian princess Ms. Keshia Chantè, just recently announced today that she's acquired her itinerary for her Japan press tour, starting October 2nd-6th! Also, her 3rd album 'Night + Day' will go for release in Japan on November 21st featuring new music! This is extremely exciting news for us here at LKC! Congrats to KC and team! BREAKING: KESHIA CHANTE HOSTS 106 & PARK

You're probably a bit shocked at the title of this post, but believe us, when it was announced, that Keshia was co-hosting BET's 106 & Park today, with none other than Terrence J, so were we! As the announcement was so sudden, regardless, it was still a good look on Keshia's part to be on the nationally televised video countdown show apart of BET's network, scoring her first official appearance on the show, sans her heavy rotated "Bad Boy" music video on the station as a "Rated NEXT" artist back in 2004.  Hopefully next time Keshia appears we have a little more apt time to spread the word so that #KCRydersNYC can pack the place out! You already know what time it is! #ChanteSeasonHasReturned

2012 clearly has blessings with Keshia's name written all over them (Securing a deal to release her music in Japan, A new endorsement with Panasonic Canada, Judge on Season 5 of The Next Star, Hosting 106 & Park...) and we at LKC congratulate Keshia on accomplishing yet another milestone in her ever expanding career on today! You did us proud today KC!

Evening #KCRyders! The grind for our princess just doesn't stop! And that's a good thing, because we can clearly see that Chante Season has returned! From judging on Season 5 of YTV's The Next Star, to her recent guest judge appearances on shows like Canada's Best Beauty Talent and Food Network Canada's: Top Chef Canada, it seems the momentum for Ms. Keshia Chante just won't quit! And now, to add to her resume once more, CANFAR's official Youth Ambassador has announced that she's teaming up with CANFAR and Panasonic Canada to raise awareness for HIV and AIDS, with a new ad for Panasonic's cool new headphones! BREAKING: KC TO GUEST JUDGE ON CANADA'S BEST BEAUTY TALENT FINALE!!

As if our girl didn't get enough practice with her current job as judge on Season 5 of YTV's The Next Star, she's further spreading her wings, and adding to that impressive resume of hers by acting as a guest judge on the finale of Canada's Best Beauty Talent: Episode 6, Hosted by Coco Rocha scheduled to air Sunday May 13th, (Mother's Day) 10pm EST and Monday May 14th 7pm EST directly after Canada's Got Talent, on on City TV. BREAKING: KESHIA CHANTE ANNOUNCED AS JUDGE ON CANADA'S 'THE NEXT STAR'

Hey #KCRyders! It was hard for us to keep this quiet today... We knew for about three hours prior to show time... lol But trust it was worth the wait to tell you all! If you didn't already hear the big news, our girl Ms. Keshia Chanté along with Mark Spicoluk and Tara Oram have been announced on ET Canada as the new judges for Season 5 of Canada's talent search show, "The Next Star"! This is huge! Today, Keshia's also filming what will be the promo commercial for the show which will kick off with it's first talent search on  Saturday April 28th, 2012 in Haifax! Keep it locked to Luv-KC because we'll keep you in the know with footage, updates and photos every step of the way! From all of us at LKC we wish Keshia a warm congratulations!

BREAKING NEWS: WHITNEY HOUSTON DEAD AT 48

This is a tremendous loss for the music world. It was reported by various sources Icon, singer, actress and legend Whitney Houston was pronounced dead earlier this evening as reported by her publicist. She was only 48. Her legacy as a musical entertainer and one of the greatest voices of all time inspired many acts such as Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey.

On a personal note I remember some of my earlier moments in my childhood surrounded by her infectious music and how we used to play her music a lot around the house and I even remember how my aunts and cousins and I went out to see her movies "The Bodyguard", "The Preachers Wife" and jamming to her music at our annual family cookouts when I was a kid. Her vocal prowess and presence will never be duplicated, but forever she'll be remembered as a musical icon.

From us here at LKC our thoughts and prayers go out to her daughter Bobbi Kristina, mother Cissy Houston and cousin Dionne Warwick, close friend and singer Brandy Norwood (who's birthday is also today and of which she starred with in the 1997 remake of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella) as well as her extended family and friends.

CONFIRMED: KC TAPS VICPARK FOR NEW SINGLE "I MISS U"

Hey #KCRyders! By now you should already know the big news! If not read on! Three days after I posted my random thoughts on "I Miss U" being Keshia's next single, today she served to reiterate what we at LKC already knew. It's officially confirmed, "I Miss U" produced by VicPark is Keshia's 5th single (if you count "Edit, Cut, Delete U" as her 4th single) to be lifted from her third album "Night & Day". The first legitimate R&B single of Keshia's to be sent to radio since, 2006's classic anthems "Been Gone" & "2U" ("Test Drive" was a viral single so it doesn't count.). While a great song, there's just something about "If U Say" that trumps every other R&B song on this album... nevertheless I'm ecstatic that she's finally gotten a chance to release an R&B record this era!

The song itself is simply a pleasant ballad in which Keshia reassures that special someone that no matter where they are or what they're doing they don't have to doubt that she misses them, and vice versa. Clearly it's amazingly single worthy (having been pinned by both Keshia and VicPark's  Angelo "Levi" Themelkos (@levisingit), Dan Talevski (@dantalevski) & Murray Daigle, Anthony M Jones (@AnthonyM412)  and it'll be interesting to see how well they promote and market this single, as well as who Keshia taps for the video concept.
