This weekend after bringing down the house in Toronto, for Contiki's Eurobash Part II, Keshia flew to the states and divided her time between work and play. On last night she attended an Oscar party and also attended a few Anaheim Ducks games in support of her boyfriend Ray Emery. She just recently met the legendary, Teemu Selianne a fellow team member as well, only hours ago.
Today Keshia revealed via twitter that her official website, after undergoing some extra tweaking and work on her album today, KeshiaChante.Com will finally launch on tomorrow (March 1st, 2011). And, not only that the highly anticipated 2nd single to be lifted from her 3rd album, "Night & Day", 'Set U Free' will finally hit I-Tunes (CA).
Get ready to have a jam session with Keshia! Keshia's performance at Contiki's Eurobash has surfaced and Keshia knocked this performance out of the park! You've seen tweets from Contiki (Canada) and even The Broken Heel Diaries about how outstanding and amazing Keshia did, now you can see for yourself. With a rousing introduction by her childhood mentor, singer/songwriter Shawn Desmond (Does He Love Me, Spinnin'), the ever poise and classy Keshia Chanté commands and captivates her audience from the moment she sets foot on the stage. With live band in tow, Keshia elegantly and effortlessly breezes through some of her past hits (Been Gone, 2U, Bad Boy), and her new chart topper 'Table Dancer'! For the first time ever, Keshia also performs her new single "Set U Free" taking her dancing skills up yet another notch. She even goes so far as to bring her band members to the forefront and gets the audience involved in a little sing-a-long. It's safe to say, Ms Chanté is all grown up now! Hey KC fans! A little quick news for you for the week of Febuary 13th, 2011. Keshia has been extremely busy attending Katharine Demarchelier's Luxuary Swimwear launch preview for 2011, as well as premiering her new single 'Set U Free' and gearing up for intense promo for her new single. Her official website KeshiaChante.Com will be relaunched with a new look and an interactive space for her fans designed by Harmonic Concepts early next week. In May, Keshia will being going to Kenya as CANFAR's official Youth Ambassador to help build an orphanage and interact with people supporting the cause. Last night Keshia proudly tweeted that she was in New York supporting her boyfriend, net-mender, Ray Emory at his first game back on the ice since his injury. Talk about dedication, congrats Ray! Keshia confirmed via tweet today that she and her team are shooting for Monday February 21st to be the relaunch date of her official website KeshiaChante.Com. For those of you who have been fans from the very start or may have heard of her through her second album, '2U'. Keshia has always made sure that her webiste is extremely interactive and easily accessible for the fans. She's been putting in a lot of work into making sure it's right too! She was photographed earlier this week going through exclusive behind the scenes content that she plans on posting on her website.
Keshia & CANFAR!
Keshia is no stranger to doing good, which only makes sense that she would partner up with CANFAR and be elected their Youth Ambassador. This May, Keshia and CANFAR will be traveling to Kenya (from May 9th-May 23) to help build an orphanage, see the living conditions there first hand, explore the wildlife and speak with people who are working just as hard to make a difference to put an end to the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

It's here! The new single from Keshia entitled 'Set U Free' arrived only moments ago and our prediction of the demo that we heard with Taio was RIGHT! Enjoy this Janet inspired hype-fest below! Fused with rave and trance like beats, along with a fresh background palate and heavy bass, Keshia sprinkles her own vibe onto the track in which she Co-Penned with Taio Cruz. Keshia nailed it with her vocals on this and it's definitely on it's way to top the charts.

Is it possible that 'Set Ur Body Free' could be the song Taio Cruz penned for Keshia? Taio is singing this version and the interesting fact is that it sounds somewhat likeKeshia's current Canadian smash, 'Table Dancer'. You can definitely hear the Janet-influence in this record and if this is indeed the single that Keshia will be releasing, she's hit the mark above and beyond because this, with the right promotion (in Canada and overseas of course) will prove to be a chart topping smash for the Canadian princess! We won't post it here on LKC just in case the song IS indeed her new single, but just know that it is indeed something worth the wait!
Introducing the official single cover for Keshia's next two singles, 'Set U Free' and 'If U Say'! How's that for a Valentine's Day gift KC fans? Keshia gifted her fans the single cover shot by Rayan Studios a few hours ago, and it looks absolutely stunning! According to Keshia, the single 'Set U Free' is an upbeat club number similar to the sounds of KC's Candaian hit, 'Table Dancer' and penned by none other than Taio Cruz, with vintage Janet Jackson influences. 'If U Say' is a great heartfelt ballad that Keshia penned herself and produced by the hitmakers VicPark, which Keshia debuted on her Ustream last year on World Aids Day. The final version of this single has been revamped with new vocals. Also, Keshia stated via twitter that she and the team are working hard to re-open her official website KeshiaChante.Com later on this week. Stay tuned for more updates coming your way.
