NEW PHOTOS: KC @ KISS 92.5, Canadian Music Week, Humber & Luxy!

Ms. Keshia had quite the busy day yesterday in Canada, and just tweeted earlier this morning that she's on her way back to California to get some much needed R&R. Here is a recap of Keshia's day yesterday via industry colleagues and #KCRyders who tweeted photos of Keshia out and about and performing live. Kiss 92.5 - The Roz & Mocha Show

Keshia stopped by Toronto's The Roz & Mocha Show on Kiss 92.5 to chat about her upcoming album and her new single 'Set U Free', as well as the Junos which are officially two weeks away! Keshia at Canadian Music Week
Keshia tweeted about Canadian Music Week and a lot of the activities that Keshia was involved in were surrounded by Canadian Music Week. Her interview with Kiss took place at Royal York Hotel. She took a photo below with artist Brelynd who tweeted about running into Keshia at the CMW event.

Keshia at Humber College

Last night, Keshia had two live performance, one was for the students at Humber College in Toronto. Her mentor and heavy collaborator on her debut album, "Keshia Chante", and also fellow Universal Music Canada labelmate, Shawn Desman opened up for Keshia at this event in place of Jersey Shore cast member Angelina who was unable to attend the show. Several students tweet about how great her performance was on last night and here's a pic from the event via #KCRyder @_stefaniiee.

Last but not least, Keshia ventured over to Vaughan, Canada to Luxy Nightclub where she performed her chart topping Canadian Pop hit, 'Table Dancer'. Although the appearance as tweeted by Keshia was "short &; sweet" fans were very appreciative of her appearance. #KCRyder @ttraacyy was at the show and snapped the photo below.

NEWS: KC @ Contiki Eurobash Event & Single Premiere Date!

Check out these LQ fan photos of KC performing at Contiki (Canada's) Eurobash event on tonight courtesty of  @greghayes & @slinky8. Keshia tweeted a few hours before show time about the atmosphere in the club with white roses and amazing lighting. The show ended aproximately a half hour ago and Keshia excited tweeted the following about her single release date:

QUICK NEWS: KC AT NIGHT & DAY SHOOT + NEW SINGLE PENNED BY TAIO CRUZ

Check out the beautiful Ms. Chante on the set of her Night & Day album shoot! Keshia has been doing a lot of finshing touches on her new album these past few weeks. This included rearranging her next two singles & shooting her album cover as well as planning her US takeover which will began in Febuary when her music finally makes its debut on US ITunes! Speaking of which, Keshia has extremely important news to share with her fans this tuesday (Febuary 1st). Also her next singles, (Table Dancer being the 1st) will no longer be the VicPark produced 'Hang My Jersey Up' or Keshia's own favorite & Ustream-debuted 'If U Say'. Her next single was penned by current chart topper Taio Cruz! She also said that the record was inspired by Janet Jackson. All these things make us here at LKC very anxious to hear that new single though. No word on who produced it, but as soon as we find out more news it shall be posted here. Keep it locked KC fans!

Request KC
KC will be starting her radio and television promo for her new single really soon and we'll keep you updated as to when those promo dates are. Right now, what you can do is request KC's new single Table Dancer or your local radio station and on MuchMusic, MuchMore & MuchVibe. Requesting is the biggest part when it comes to supporting KC and so far you guys are doing great! 


Canada AM
Tomorrow KC will be on Canada AM at 7AM with the President of CANFAR. If you're able to catch it then please be sure & tune in.


World Aids Day
Tomorrow KC will also b participating in World Aids Day with Alicia Keys  and Usher just to name a few. She participated in the event once before back in 2005 so she is no stranger to philanthropic works. She worked with World Vision a few years back as well. If you're going to be in Dundas Square in Toronto at around 11:30am be sure & say hi to Keshia. She'll be there with World AIDS Day volunteers! For more information on the event click  here.

NEWS: Table Dancer To Premiere this Week?

  That's the question on every #KCRyders mind right now. The highly anticipated video is supposed to drop, sometime today (eight days prior to their preview on last week). NEWS: KC Covers Sway Magazine + Speaks on 'Night + Day'

Check out KC looking stunning on the cover of Sway Magazine's 'All Women Issue' for October 2010! We were the first to break to you the news about Keshia's upcoming album entitled, 'Night + Day' and Keshia spoke to Sway Magazine about a lot of things that you can expect from her new album. “It’s pretty much my diary; it’s all very personal stuff,” says Chanté of her new album, Night & Day, slated for release in Spring 2011. Known for dance pop and romantic ballads, Chanté’s upcoming release is a dual disk that includes her well known signature sound, along with new organic elements that display her evolution as an artist.

The first official single and video is “Table Dancer,” but a video for “Test Drive” will also be released virally at the same time. “It’s a singles world and I’d like to release three singles in a row, work them hard and see what comes back before I get into working the full album. We’ll see how it goes.”

 The ever-present Drake connection can be speculated with “Dead to Me,” but Chanté denies that it’s about him. “Oh no,” she says. “Drake is very dear to me and remains a good friend. We’re steadily in touch but given our schedules, don’t actually meet up that much.” Chanté indicates the scheduling problem was part of the issue in forming a relationship with Drake when the pair started dating as 15-year-olds. “It was more like puppy love. We tried to have a relationship but the timing wasn’t the best. Plus, we were so young. It’s probably for the best we didn’t have a serious relationship back then.”

She was one of many high profile Canadian artists to preform at the Durham International Festival's R&B/Pop/Hip-Hop Concert segment.
