YTV's The Next Star (Season 6)

We're very excited to announce to you that YTV's The Next Star has been renewed for a sixth season! And not only that wacky antics of The Next Star judges Mark Spicoluk, Tara Oram and our own Keshia Chante are again in motion. Even though the new season doesn't air until July, there have been tons of updates, including the new host Carlos Bustamante ( from YTV's The Zone)! The audition dates and city have been posted on the official website which you can view by clicking here! Gear up your vocals #KCRydersCrew! It's about to be a great new season!

Keshia Chante Performs at The Youth Code Charity Event

On last Saturday the national launch of the The Youth Code
took place in Toronto, Canada. It serves to act as a source of

help and resource for at-risk kids dealing with abuse.
Keshia was among several of the celebrity attendees, and  performers at the event. Keshia offered up an intimate acoustic set with her guitarist Ricky. Visit www.theyouthcode.com/ for more information on how you can be involved with this great Non-Profit Organization.

Upcoming: KC to walk at 'Paws For The Cause' Fashion Event!

This just in! KC will be walking for the October 28th, fashion show, 'Paws For The Cause' fashion event. Approximately 10- some odd celebs will be walking the runway with their pups for the fashion and animal lover event of the year. And if you didn't already know KC has a pup by the name of Dre. She got him around the time her music career first kicked off back in 2004. Now, if you watched her first Ustream back in April of this year, those of you who didn't know who Dre was, were introduced to the lovable puppy. Read on below for more information on the Paws For the Cause Event:

 The Paws for the Cause fashion show will showcase one-of-a-kind dog outfits by Canada’s brightest designers presented alongside canine chic choices by sponsor Pet Valu. Featured designers include: Ashley Rowe, Beckerman, Joeffer Caoc, Jules Power, Philip Sparks, Roots, Shared Design Collective, Tavan Mitto, Rita Liefhebber and Moon. Dog walkers include: Actor Kristin Booth, Pop stars Keshia Chante and Anna Cyzon, Heather OgdenAndrew Sardone (NOW Magazine), to name a few.

Paws for the Cause is a dog fashion show and cocktail party donating 100% of funds raised to the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OSPCA).

The evening will kick off with a runway presentation featuring 10 Canadian fashion designers who will dress 10 precious pups and 10 familiar faces from Toronto on October 28 . 2010

Upcoming: KC to preform @ OnexOne Event: Hosted by Matt Damon

Team Chante posted this event on KC's official Facebook page and Myspace earlier today. KC will be preforming at Actor & Philanthropist Matt Damon's One x One Gala that will take place next Saturday, September 11th, 2010 from 7pm - 10pm. Keshia is among many of the musical guest that will be preforming at Bisha Presentation Center that night. If you're able to attend, please do so and support a great cause.

UPCOMING: KC to model at Toronto's Heart Truth Fashion Show

KC recently tweeted about modeling for an upcoming fashion show, and we here at LKC are happy to inform you that KC will be one of the many celebs modeling red dresses at this years Heart Truth Fashion Show in Toronto! The the invite-only show takes place on Wednesday, March 31 at 3 pm in the LG Fashion Week environment at Allstream Centre at Exhibition Place in Toronto. The moment pics are available from the event, we shall be sure to post them.
