Hey #KCRyders! By now you should already know the big news! If not read on! Three days after I posted my random thoughts on "I Miss U" being Keshia's next single, today she served to reiterate what we at LKC already knew. It's officially confirmed, "I Miss U" produced by VicPark is Keshia's 5th single (if you count "Edit, Cut, Delete U" as her 4th single) to be lifted from her third album "Night & Day". The first legitimate R&B single of Keshia's to be sent to radio since, 2006's classic anthems "Been Gone" & "2U" ("Test Drive" was a viral single so it doesn't count.). While a great song, there's just something about "If U Say" that trumps every other R&B song on this album... nevertheless I'm ecstatic that she's finally gotten a chance to release an R&B record this era!
The song itself is simply a pleasant ballad in which Keshia reassures that special someone that no matter where they are or what they're doing they don't have to doubt that she misses them, and vice versa. Clearly it's amazingly single worthy (having been pinned by both Keshia and VicPark's Angelo "Levi" Themelkos (@levisingit), Dan Talevski (@dantalevski) & Murray Daigle, Anthony M Jones (@AnthonyM412) and it'll be interesting to see how well they promote and market this single, as well as who Keshia taps for the video concept.
