#TBT VIBE VIXEN "DIGITAL DISH" INTERVIEW W/ KC (FEB 2014)

Afternoon #KCRyders! We've got two great #TBT segments for you today. The first one is from Keshia's Vibe Vixen Digital Dish interview from February 2014. For 14 years, BET’s 106 + Park has not only redefined television for millenials, but made stars out of its hosts. Filling the shoes of 106 legends like AJ Calloway, Free, Rocsi Diaz and Terrence J. may seem a daunting task, but current host Keshia Chante makes it look easy. Alongside “King of 106” Bow Wow, the Toronto native is quickly carving her own piece of BET history.
Already a bonafide star in her native Canada, Keshia’s infectious energy wins over viewers every night and now we know why. Vixen was recently invited to the 106&Park HQ’s for some girl time with the singer and host. During our mani sesh, Keshia was an open book as she told us all the juicy deets about 106 and her life off-camera.

WATCH: (11.11.13) KC HOSTS 106 FT CAST OF REAL HUSBANDS OF HOLLYWOOD

Monday's episode was not only a tribute to Veterans around the world... (Happy Belated Veterans Day to those who've served our countries and our currently serving, btw!) But it also brought the cast of BET's Real Husbands of Hollywood, Nelly, Kevin Hart, Boris Kodjoe, Selita Ebanks, and Cynthia Kaye McWilliams. Also Phaedra Parks of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' came through the park to debut her new book, 'Secrets of A Southern Girl' and talk about being on RHWOA.

Tonight's episode of 106 brought Glee star Erinn Westbrook and rising rap star Easy Lantana to The Park. Easy Lantana hit the stage and performed his hit "All Hustle, No Luck". He also talked about starting over and wanting to be an inspiration to others that have gone through similar struggles. He also presented Bow + Keshia with 'All Hustle, No Luck' sweatshirts to celebrate his remix of the track with Pusha T and Yo Gotti! Errin chopped it up with Keshia and Bow about Glee and why she likes her role as "Bree" on the show. She also engaged in a game to see if she knew some other famous "Mean Girls".

Tonight's episode, Keshia held her own show on her the show (due to her co-host Bow Wow being sick with Strep! Aww)! Actor Jason Statham came by to chat with Keshia about his new movie 'Home Front', 'The Expendables' how filming is going with 'Fast And The Furious 7', as well as how bad he is in real life. He even played a game by reading tweets from popular celebrities. As an added punch to the already great show, Keshia brought back her Style File segment with Glamo creator of Lamor Deluxe Company, and Meccamore from Pynk Magazine!

The first day of November was packed with #BlackGirlsRock power! The hosts of Black Girls Rock! Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King both stopped by The Park to chat it up with our girl Keshia about the star studded event that took place on last weekend in New Jersey at the New Jersey Center of Performing Arts. Not only did Tracee and Reginia talk a bit about the show, but they also joined Keshia for her segment of 'Chick Chat' which has gained increasing popularity with each segment aired!

Tonight's episode was all about celebrating Halloween! Keshia and Bow revealed their Halloween costumes with Bow as Prince Hakeem of Zamunda from the flim 'Coming To America' and Keshia as her musical idol Beyonce Knowles, complete with her background dancers! The hosts showed popular 2013 celebrity costumes as well as some great fan costumes that were instagramed throughout the show! Comedian Donnell Rawlings brought his Halloween costume dos and don'ts,  and R+B heartthrobs B5 also stopped by to hit the stage to perform their smash single 'Say Yes'! There were Halloween games, including a Trick or Treat game and a favorite audience member costume contest where you the 106 viewers picked the winner by voting on Facebook!

Tonight's episode brought the newly engaged hip-hop star, Future (to R+B star Ciara) to The Park. He hit the stage to perform his smash hit 'Honest', clears the air about rumors regarding 'Would You Like A Tour', Tour with Drake, and even hit The 106 'Hot Seat' with Keshia grilling him with your questions! Keshia was also interviewed by ET Canada's Sangita Patel for a segment in regard to her being the new host!

Tonight's episode of BET's 106 + Park brought Sage The Gemini who hit the stage and performed 'Gas Pedal' and 'Red Nose'. He also taught Keshia + Bow the 'Gas Pedal' dance, and sat down and chatted with Keshia and Bow about his album and upcoming projects. Tonight's episode of 106 celebrated the one and only DJ Khaled and his new album 'Suffering from Success'. It brought through friends who collaborated on the effort. Among them were hip-hop heavy weights Rick Ross, Meek Mill, French Montana, Swizz Beats, Mavado, Jadakiss and Vado. He also performed music from the album as well, bringing out rapper Busta Rymes along with the star-studded list of friends who stopped by The Park to wish him well on his new album. Jadakiss also gives a VIPeek of his new video as well. BSmyth also stopped by with his new joint 'Goochi', interviewed with Bow and Keshia and also answered questions from fans.

And also for a new joint of the day R+B's rising star August Alsina's new joint 'Ghetto' ft Rich Homie Quan premiered to cap off the night.
