Evening #KCRyders! Hope you enjoyed your weekend and a very Happy Mother's Day to Keshia's Mom, Tessa Agnelo, and to all you amazing #MamaRyders out there! On last week, our girl Keshia along with her co-judges Mark Spicoluk and Tara Oram visited The Rush on Shaw TV in Vancouver. They talked about returning as judges Season 6 of the hit YTV show, The Next Star, and advice that they've given tons of hopefuls hoping for their shot at the top 12. They also answer a few questions on livestream and twitter from fans who viewed the show. Enjoy!

The Next Star posted up this behind the scenes clip, (via their Youtube: Official Next Star) of Next Star judges Tara Oram and our girl Keshia Chante as they went out to greet some of the aspiring Next Star hopefuls while in Calgary. Evening #KCRyders! Today, YTV's The Next Star Season 6 crew has stopped in Vancouver! It's been a great ride thus far according to tons of excited tweets from the judges and the crew themselves; auditioning tons of ambitious hopefuls, aspiring to be The Next Star's Season 6 champion! Upon this journey Vancouver's Vancity Buzz chatted with our girl Keshia Chante about her role in the hit YTV show, as well as many other things like how she spends her downtime, her philanthropy with CANFAR, as well as the ever popular subject, progress on the late, Aaliyah Dana Haughton's biopic.

For 'Star Stories' episode 2, it's Keshia's turn. In this episode, judge Mark Spicoluk is away and Suki stands in. What does this mean for Tara & Keshia? NEWS: 'SEARCHIN' #3 ON SINGERSROOM 'TOP R&B SINGLES OF THE WEEK'

Hope you had a great weekend #KCRyders! Evening to you all! Amidst the hussle and bussle of the start of a new work week, we managed to spot, via #KCRyder @Tremaine6 that Keshia's song 'I've Been Searchin' (a Bonus Track on the Japan Edition of "Night & Day") which debuted on the website Singersroom.com last week is in high demand. The song landed at #3 for Top R&B Singles for the week of January 14th. Incredible feat! Thus the song soared bypassing power group Desitny's Child, contending with R&B Vetern Avant, and newbie Willow Smith who hold the number 1 & 2 slots!

KC QUICK NEWS: 'I'VE BEEN SEARCHIN' GOES VIRAL

Evening #KCRyders! Now of course we were already privy to hearing this amazing bonus track from Keshia's Japan release of her 3rd album, "Night & Day", in  November 2012. Now, the song has gone viral, and heavy hitter sites like Vibe Magazine*, YouKnowIGotSoul*, and Singersroom.com* have picked up the song and premiered on their various blog sites! Amazing way to kick off the new, year don't ya think?

This only leaves us to wonder if Keshia will release an indie music video to go with... Only time will tell, she's currently in the studio working on her new LP, due out soon.

Evening #KCRyders! This week our Canadian Princess Keshia Chante, embarked on a press tour in Tokyo, Japan for her third album Night & Day to be released on November 21st, 2012 in Japan. Her first Japan single 'Table Dancer' has already shot to #1 in the ringtone slot, and is doing extremely well as a single just like we at LKC knew it would!
