The event itself was the final curtain call for 25 years of long served service on behalf of HIV/Aids Awareness, and research for The Elton John AIDS Foundation & The AIDS Committee of Toronto. Keshia was among the extensive, yet talented of Canadian music royalty who joined Elton John's finally as they sang the classic, "I'm Still Standing". Evening #KCRyders! Just in case you missed our girl Keshia on CP24 this afternoon, no worries! We've gotcha covered! CP24 uploaded the interview of Keshia, John Paul Ricchio and Kreesha Turner who stopped by the CP24 Studios to talk about the Fashion Cares 25 Gala, which will take place on Sunday September 9th, 2012!
They also chatted briefly about the host of performers that are lined up to perform at the star-studded AIDS Awarness charity event, along with Keshia & Kreesha Turner, July Black, Sky Fererra and of course Elton John himself! Not to mention a spectacular Fashion Show segment which will take place as well. And, following the event there will be an after party at Maison Mercer.
Morning #KCRyders! Alas, all good things must come to an end, and unfortunately this means the end of Star School lessons from our girl KC, and two more from Tara and Mark. In this episode, Keshia explains what "swag" means to her: Having a positive attitude and confidence, not cockiness. Agreed Keshia!

Evening #KCRyders! Are you in need of a laugh after a crazy long work week? Welp, we've got just the remedy... The Next Star (Season 5)'s top 13 kids have been chosen, along with the top 6 and are now moving on the show the judges what they've got!
This past Monday night, host Adamo recapped his favorite moments on the show thus far, with Keshia vs The Big Foot Mascot being (ding! ding! ding! you guessed it!) number one! The Next Star (Season 5) Judges Tara Oram and Mark Spicoluk along with host Adamo Ruggiero decided to play a little prank on our girl Keshia Chante, knowing her fear of dolls and mascots. Let's just say Keshia didn't find it very funny... Poor Keesh! (cues the 'Friends' Theme Song)
Evening #KCRyders! We told you on yesterday when the Sneek Peek of Keshia's Matt Barnes photoshoot was tweeted, that the photoshoot pics would come sooner than you thought, and here they are! Our girl Keshia tweeted, and posted about the photoshoot, stating that she wanted to pay homage to both 90's R&B and the late great R&B songstress, Aaliyah Dana Haughton who is one of her musical inspirations.
She and team clearly pulled off an amazing shoot, and Keshia added her own flare style wise with the blinged out accessories! Reminds of the days when when Unpredictable first came out and she rocked a similar street style in the video. Keshia's always been known for her ability to switch up her style from glam, to 'street sweet', to couture and not even miss a beat! (No pun intended! lol) This is by far an amazing photoshoot and you can view all the photos here as well as hear famed Canadian photographer Matt Barnes prospective on the photoshoot itself.
Is it just me or should KC rock this style in the "Hang My Jersey Up" music, (in the event that it becomes a single...).
#KCRyders this is huge! We told you once we got the final details about the movie going to DVD that we'd share! We're pleased to announce that you can now order your copy of our girl Keshia Chantè's very first movie, "Sunshine Sketches of A Little Town" on DVD from the official CBC website by clicking here!
Morning #KCRyders! If you didn't already know, our girl KC stays on the move. Early yesterday evening she embarked on a photoshoot with famed Canadian photographer, Mark Barnes (@MarkBarnesPhoto). In tow was her trusty glam squad and crew Janet Jackson (@JouJouHair) and Dee (& @DeeDaily) (who worked with Keshia on her music videos over the years as well as the YTV show, "The Next Star" respectively). Both Janet and Dee tweeted that Keshia's photoshoot turned out amazing! Keshia also tweeted that we'll find out just what this photoshoot is for sooner than we think!
As always we'll keep you posted! Def digging the makeup and hair combo!

So based off yesterday's show please believe, I'm so#TeamKCandKT right now! Their chemistry reminds me so much of AJ and Free's when they started hosting the show back in the early 2000's. It's clear even judging by these clips that the audience was feeling the same way.

On yesterday, July 1st our girl KC brought down the house at the 2012 Pride Toronto's Pride Parade & Blockorama, (and also Canada Day) in a brightly blue and sequenced dress, DJ and background dancer in tow, live vocals on point to a warm, receiving crowd. She performed several of her hits, along with a couple of songs from her back catalog like "Bad Boy" and "Table Dancer", and the summer anthem "Set U Free" to close out her set. Evening #KCRyders! I didn't forget, but shoutout to Albert (@koolkidincash93) for making sure we posted on this! Today marks three years since the greatest entertainer to ever do it, Michael Joseph Jackson, left this earth. Personally I grew up listening to Michael whether it was through the Jackson 5 records or his own solo records all of which I own personally. It's still surreal to me knowing that Michael is gone, but remembering his gentle spirit and his musical legacy always puts a smile on my face.

Updates are a tad bit slow for the moment, so that being said, here's a trip down memory lane! About two years ago (Fall 2010) KC recorded a beautiful acapella rendition of Drake's "Find Your Love", after a long day of events for TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival). Till this day, she and the Degrassi star, and Young Money rap wonder better known as Aubrey Graham are still great friends. Check out her rendition of the single from Drake's first album "Thank Me Later" below. Enjoy & have a great Saturday!

However, no worries, consider it a reminder. lol For those of you who will be attending Pride Toronto this year in Canada, you’re in for a special treat! Our girl KC will be performing live on the Bud Light South Stage! Originally scheduled to perform on June 30th, now according to Pride Toronto’stweet on June 9th, KC will be performing at the official Pride Parade on July 1st! She also confirmed this last night with a tweet of reply back to #KCRyder & #KCCrewStreetTeamMember @JaneRepsU that she is indeed performing for it!
