KC QUICK NEWS #9: SUNSHINE SKETCHES FT. KC TO GO TO DVD IN EARLY JUNE

Hey #KCRyders! Get ready to support KC in a major way once more! According to the Official Facebook of the movie "Sunshine Sketches In A Little Town" that KC recently appeared in, it will be made for DVD release in early June!

The Sunshine Sketches DVD release is scheduled for early June. Watch this space for more details!

 How exciting is that? Very if you ask me, especially if the DVD is made for shipping and purchase internationally. It will be a great day for us as #KCRyders because it'll be the first film with KC in it available for purchase! We'll keep you in the know regarding the details as they come!

Now if only Vision-TV could hop on the same wagon and get us the SOUL Series staring KC, iSH and Mpho on BET and DVD for international release? Oh yes, then we'd be in business.

THROWBACK THURSDAY: FALLEN FT. DRAKE

Well, since it's Thursday, and you our fellow #KCRyders inspired today's throwback theme, here it is! Fallen by KC Ft. Drake. Here's a fun fact that you may or may not know about the song:

According to KC, the song was "originally meant to be released as the next single following '2U', however her then label, Sony BMG decided that they didn't want to release it as a single instead went with the alternate version featuring Freeway", which is the one that made the album's final tracklisting.

Well, I bet Sony BMG is regretting that choice now. But you live and you learn. Drake is one huge force in the rap game now, worldwide. That in itself leaves one to wonder why KC and Drake have yet to team up again. One can only hope... Listen to the throwback remix of Fallen by KC ft. a young Aubrey Graham below:

Hey #KCRyders! Hope you had a great Friday! Check out photos from various attendees at KC’s “I Miss U” video shoot, Day 1. Day 2 commences tomorrow, Saturday April 14th, ultimately concluding the two day video shoot. This will be the 3rd video that director Marc Debruyne ("Shooting Star" & "Set U Free") has done for Keshia. Expect the video around the second or third week of May. Enjoy!

ON SET: "I MISS U" VIDEO SHOOT - DAY 1

Morning #KCRyders! Today is the first day of Keshia's video shoot for the fourth single, "I Miss U" which will be a two-day shoot concluding on tomorrow. So far we have the above photo courtesy Levi, ( part of the production crew VicPark that produced six-songs on Keshia's 3rd Album "Night & Day") who graciously tweeted us a photo of Keshia in the studio as part of the video's concept. BREAKING: KESHIA CHANTE ANNOUNCED AS JUDGE ON CANADA'S 'THE NEXT STAR'

Hey #KCRyders! It was hard for us to keep this quiet today... We knew for about three hours prior to show time... lol But trust it was worth the wait to tell you all! If you didn't already hear the big news, our girl Ms. Keshia Chanté along with Mark Spicoluk and Tara Oram have been announced on ET Canada as the new judges for Season 5 of Canada's talent search show, "The Next Star"! This is huge! Today, Keshia's also filming what will be the promo commercial for the show which will kick off with it's first talent search on  Saturday April 28th, 2012 in Haifax! Keep it locked to Luv-KC because we'll keep you in the know with footage, updates and photos every step of the way! From all of us at LKC we wish Keshia a warm congratulations!

KC QUICK NEWS #8: BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

Big Announcement coming soon, curious as to what it is? Well, we can't tell you we can't even drop a hint, because we don't even know. KC says, this week maybe today or tomorrow, and she's pretty good about keeping her word close to dates, so we shall see.

Hopefully, it has something to do with the US & International markets and securing a US/International Label, that'd be the best announcement ever to come from her, and would ultimately shift to the top of being one of this years highlights before the year's end. New music and or a mixtape is also a possibility as well, because she did say last year that she & her manger Jen were working on something of that affect and she was recording material for her fourth album starting in January.

 Or, it could even be that she's filming a movie... (and that can be left open to interpretation) 

It could be any of those things, but nothing would excite me more than her album being in stores in the US and her having a label her.
