Morning #KCRyders! If you didn't already know, our girl KC stays on the move. Early yesterday evening she embarked on a photoshoot with famed Canadian photographer, Mark Barnes (@MarkBarnesPhoto). In tow was her trusty glam squad and crew Janet Jackson (@JouJouHair) and Dee (& @DeeDaily) (who worked with Keshia on her music videos over the years as well as the YTV show, "The Next Star" respectively). Both Janet and Dee tweeted that Keshia's photoshoot turned out amazing! Keshia also tweeted that we'll find out just what this photoshoot is for sooner than we think!
As always we'll keep you posted! Def digging the makeup and hair combo!

Morning #KCRyders! Just in case you missed it on yesterday our girl Keshia along with another 106 & Park: The Search hopeful Kevin Thompson, stopped by BET's 106 & Park to show off their hosting chops and give reason as to why they should be chosen as the new 106 & Park hosts. So based off yesterday's show please believe, I'm so#TeamKCandKT right now! Their chemistry reminds me so much of AJ and Free's when they started hosting the show back in the early 2000's. It's clear even judging by these clips that the audience was feeling the same way.

On yesterday, July 1st our girl KC brought down the house at the 2012 Pride Toronto's Pride Parade & Blockorama, (and also Canada Day) in a brightly blue and sequenced dress, DJ and background dancer in tow, live vocals on point to a warm, receiving crowd. She performed several of her hits, along with a couple of songs from her back catalog like "Bad Boy" and "Table Dancer", and the summer anthem "Set U Free" to close out her set. Evening #KCRyders! I didn't forget, but shoutout to Albert (@koolkidincash93) for making sure we posted on this! Today marks three years since the greatest entertainer to ever do it, Michael Joseph Jackson, left this earth. Personally I grew up listening to Michael whether it was through the Jackson 5 records or his own solo records all of which I own personally. It's still surreal to me knowing that Michael is gone, but remembering his gentle spirit and his musical legacy always puts a smile on my face.

Updates are a tad bit slow for the moment, so that being said, here's a trip down memory lane! About two years ago (Fall 2010) KC recorded a beautiful acapella rendition of Drake's "Find Your Love", after a long day of events for TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival). Till this day, she and the Degrassi star, and Young Money rap wonder better known as Aubrey Graham are still great friends. Check out her rendition of the single from Drake's first album "Thank Me Later" below. Enjoy & have a great Saturday!

Morning #KCRyders! Meant to post this several weeks ago, via the blog after we posted it on the our official Tumblr page here. However, no worries, consider it a reminder. lol For those of you who will be attending Pride Toronto this year in Canada, you’re in for a special treat! Our girl KC will be performing live on the Bud Light South Stage! Originally scheduled to perform on June 30th, now according to Pride Toronto’stweet on June 9th, KC will be performing at the official Pride Parade on July 1st! She also confirmed this last night with a tweet of reply back to #KCRyder & #KCCrewStreetTeamMember @JaneRepsU that she is indeed performing for it!

This past weekend our girl KC celebrated her 24th birthday on June 16th, 2012, complete with a one of a kind custom made cake in the style of a classic Channel purse! She also shares her birthday with that of rap legend Tupac Shakur of whom she's stated since her early years, inspired and influenced her. She's also a huge fan of his music as well. As far as this years birthday celebration went, she had a laid back and intimate party at home with close friends and family meticulously planned by her bf Ray Emery (Chicago Blackhawks goalie) and you can view several photos from the event posted by KC and friends via Instagram.

Well #KCRyders, I had a good feeling when I woke up today, and given the recent post of KC paying a visit to Lucian Matis, I had a hunch that KC would be attending the Much Music Video Awards this year because of the fitting. And guess what, much to our shock here at LKC, she did! KC's been full of surprises this week! This included! Check out the photos we've managed to snag from Instagram via various fans and friends of KC hitting the red carpet in a classy short green and gold number. Looking good Keesh!
