Don't you just love it when your requests get answered? lol A special shout-out and thanks to The Next Star (Season 5) Family as well as YTV for uploading the first two episodes of "Star School" to their Official Youtube Page upon our request on last week. And now, because of their extreme kindness you all can watch KC, Tara & Mark give you some amazing tips if you're thinking about auditioning for The Next Star!

 Episode 1  of Star School is entitled "Biz Ed" and appropriately so because Mark Spicoluk is very knowledgeable of business aspect of the Canadian music industry. You can watch as Mark offers you some amazing advice in the middle of Tara and our girl KC haming it up below!

NEW VIDEO: BTS "I MISS U" MUSIC VIDEO DAY 2

Good Morning #KCRyders! Oh you're in for a real treat! A new "Behind The Scenes" video has surfaced for KC's new music video "I Miss U" which features a host of familiar faces, family and friends that KC's acquired through her career & life over the years: Her Aunt Chantel (she was in the BTS of Set U Free if you look closely), her two cousins Michelle & Jess, her best friend Daniel (@djonesproducer), her long time manager and friend Jen Hyland (@jenhyland) make cameo appearances in this second half of a two-part series.

In true Tanjola style, of course the video for the second day of her video shoot was released first before day one, something a bit similar to when KC shot the video for "Test Drive" back in 2010 and hadn't released the single yet. lol Either way, according to KC major props go to Antoine Biko (@AntoineBiko) for capturing this inside look because he created the amazing BTS video you'll see below. Hopefully KC & Tanjola keep Mr. Antonie on the roster from here on out regarding her BTS videos from here on out. The short visual is a clean, consistent video and it looks like a mini documentary of KC's life. #Winning!






And don't forget that KC will be performing the single for the first time on Breakfast Television Edmonton this morning! The full music video premieres on Thursday, May 24th, 2012 on Much Music on New.Music.Live.

WATCH: NIGHT & DAY ALBUM COMMERCIAL

Blink, and you'll miss it. Evening #KCRyders! It's been a long time coming for the album commercial for KC's new album to be posted here on LKC. We checked in with our #KCRyder & #KCRST Member @JaneRepsU for verification on if this was the actual commercial and she says that low and behold it is the official "Night & Day" commercial.

To be honest, was expecting some live shots, kind of like how Rihanna did with the commercial for her album "LOUD" (excuse me for comparing...) because to our knowledge wasn't KC shooting a commercial for her album? Maybe I misread this back in March:

Brainstorming ideas for my upcoming #IMissU +#Night&Day TV commercial!! Woohooo!!! *inserting hot mama shots in slow motion* lol

If you were expecting something ground breaking & breathtakingly epic, you won't find that here. But for what it's worth at least she has a commercial out there, and you can't fault her label for actually trying. So they get kudos for the effort, after all it is promo, and that's what KC deserves & needs.

However, on to bigger news! This week keep your eyes peeled, word on the street is the music video for #IMissU is supposed to be released this week, with some kind of teaser. If word is true, it'd be a week before schedule... For now, enjoy the commercial!

NEW INTERVIEW: B101 INTERVIEWS KESHIA CHANTE FOR YTV'S THE NEXT STAR & MORE!

Good Morning #KCRyders! Hope you all are having a great Saturday! Today is the kick off for "The Next Star" city-wide search for YTV's "The Next Star", beginning in Halifax, Novia Scotia! (SN: Happy Belated Birthday to KC's co-judge, Tara Oram!)

To promote the show, KC called into Barrie's B101, this past thursday (April 26th) to chat it up with DJ Chris, about starting her career in her early teens much like the hopefuls on the show "The Next Star" Season 5 will be. She also chatted about her duties as a "Next Star" judge, gave her personal advice on how to do your best at auditions as well as chatted on the infamous question about her friendship with Rap sensation, Drake, otherwise known to her and loyal Degrassi viewers by his given name, Aubrey Graham.

She also said that she expects the music video for her current single, "I Miss U" to drop next week, (A week earlier than originally scheduled...) and says that it has a personal an imitate story-line attached to it, and that it's the most open she's ever been in a music video.
