Evening #KCRyders! As promised we're posting the newest interview from Keshia on WNetwork. In Keshia's latest interview she talks about how she balances love and career with WNetwork. She explains in depth her decision to put her career on hold for now and focus on family. You can watch the interview by clicking here...

Keshia Chante's Vlog: Balancing Love and Relationships.

"It's really hard for two people to have a crazy, hectic schedule. And for there to be a lot of pressure publicly and we're both performers. He performs. I perform. In different ways. It can be really difficult and something always have to give, right? I can do my career til I'm old. I can be eighty. I can have a record label, sign artists. I can always be in the music industry, or I can always be singing. Look at Madonna! You can sing forever. Right? But for him, within hockey you can only do hockey for so long. You can only actually play on a team for so long.

So I think something's gotta give. And even though I like to balance career and love, I think there has to be priority at the end of the day. There's always gotta be that one thing that you're always go to and I always pick family. I always pick him. I always pick whatever, wherever he is I go. I gotta turn down certain opportunities so that I have time to stay at home. It's important! Most people, you know it's like "9-5", "Monday-Friday", And you guys are both working the same hours at the same time.

But because we're so different, I have to make a point to make sure it works. He can't control his schedule, but I can. So I'm the one that's gotta give. It's very hard for two people to have crazy careers to make it work. But I think that you can if you're both paying attention to what's going on, you spend a lot of quality time with each other and you communicate."

In August of 2014, Keshia covered Sister2Sister Magazine with 106 co-host Shad Moss (Bow Wow). In the magazine, she gets a bit more personal with this interview. She talks about her current relationship with NHL goalie Ray Emery, and how they make their relationship work. She also talks about the upcoming "Aaliyah Biopic".

My introduction: As a kid, I remember my dad watching Hockey religiously. He still does. Back then it was all about Mario Lemiuix, Wayne Gretzy, I remember having a lot of Ottawa Senators gear (I was born in Ottawa) & Montreal Canadiens.

When I first started dating Ray, it was off-season & he was injured. I didn't really see him in his element. (*I will post about how we met & our story next!)

According to 900chml.com, Ray is in the celebrity lineup to play (featuring about three dozen celebs, including Ray) for the Keneskys which is celebrating it's 100 anniversary with a golf tournament at the new course at Knowllwood in Ancaster on July 15. HOCKEY WIVES HAVE A BRAND PACT WITH  LG CANADA

In partnership with 'W Network's' Hockey Wives, here's another spin to the
show. The Hockey Wives will be promoting LG products throughout the series
for season 2. LG will be the leading sponsor for the show this season.

Here's an excerpt from the article describing the partnership

Ray Emery Brings The Stanley To His Hometown of Cayuga

 This weekend our girl Keshia Chante took some time out with NHL BF Ray Emery (Now, once again #29 of the Philadelphia Flyers... Congrats Ray!) to help him celebrate the Chicago Blackhawk 2013 Stanley Cup victory. Ray had the chance to take the Stanley Cup back home, and he took it to his hometown of Cayuga in Canada.
