CYINTERVIEW.COM INTERVIEWS KESHIA CHANTE & PUTS AALIYAH RUMORS TO REST
Submitted by Albert(@koolkidincash93)
For those of you that don't know Keshia, you'll get to know her completely in this interview. The interview took place a day after Aaliyah's birthday this year. KC gives an insight to her back-story, how she came about in the industry, almost spanning an entire decade! They discuss her drafting up her third album "Night & Day", and how it came about. She breaks down as to why she's not in US and overseas market as of yet, but how she's got a great desire to expand her brand here and overseas. She also explains and clears up the "Aaliyah Movie" rumors. You can hear and read the entire interview on CYInterview.com by clicking here.

RANDOM: 'LOVE HARD' LEAK = KESHIA CHANTE?? FALSE!!!
STOP THE PRESSES!!! Whoever is saying or telling you that a song called, 'Love Hard' that recently leaked on the net earlier today via these online sites is truly showing you a falsified disservice. 'Love Hard' is NOT, we repeat NOT Keshia Chante! The above pic a test shot from Keshia's Myspace page from around 2007 is what's been used for these posts so far. So don't be fooled, hoodwinked, swindled, none of that.
After listening to the track, I'm thinking that maybe it's Aleeshia, or some chick that's just trying to garner exposure by using KC's name. Or, maybe it could have possibly been a demo for Night & Day that Keshia never managed to record or did record but this isn't her version of it. However, we're telling you right now that the vocals on this fastly spreading song with Keshia's name attached to it is NOT her. I'm pretty sure you can tell the difference between Keshia's vocals and this chicks from the first few words.
Hear this song that is clearly NOT Keshia by clicking here, and be sure to sound off in our comment or twitter @luvkcfansite.

Random: Aaliyah.Com Releases Statement
I debated for a long time on whether I should post this, and I decided that because it was public knowledge ad given the rumors, you all should see this. Before you go into a panic or frenzy, it's nothing negative at all. This is just strictly information that I'm passing on to you. I just thought that because it was posted you as devoted #KCRyders should see it. Thus by seeing it, you can and may draw your own conclusions, or discussion points from said post.
It's no secret to #KCRyders that Aaliyah's brother Rashad does not want Keshia involved in the project. He made a public rant and literally bashed her, saying that she was using Aaliyah to further advance her career (tweets which he later deleted) via his twitter account (@RAD_6) a few months ago. (We know that that is entirely untrue because Keshia has, can carry her music career in her own right or else why would she be a Juno Award wining artist?) Afterwards Keshia was bombarded with questions concerning the "Aaliyah Movie" rumors that have been swirling over her head since Late 2007 up to the present day. There is an interesting development that I discussed with a fellow LKC team member on yesterday I believe it was... If you go to Aaliyah's website you'll find these words on the left hand side of the home page:
May 2011 Official Statement. What exactly are your thoughts on this? I (Cass) am a fan of both artists equally but why would such a statement be rendered if there wasn't something in progress.
"Any upcoming merchandise or products
that have Aaliyah's name, whether similar
or the same, have nothing to do
with the Haughton Family."

NEWS: KC mentioned on BET.COM "10 Things We Want To See In Film `11"
Submitted by Albert (@koolkidincash93)
Today, Keshia was mentioned on BET.com's list of "Ten Things We Want To See In Film in 2011". This should come as no surprise because this has been something fans worldwide have been anticipating since this rumor was sparked almost four years ago. This has probably been the most tweeted question to Keshia and to us here at LKC. And as we've always said, Keshia can't speak on it. Keshia herself has even said so. Filming on said 'Aaliyah Movie' is currently categorized as being 'on hold' which means, the Aaliyah Movie has NOT been film yet. And here it is Keshia is mentioned yet again. Hopefully next time BET gets her name right! Lol According to the Haughton family, Rashad stated publicly during twitter several months ago, that he wasn't interested in an Aaliyah movie. No word as to what Aaliyah's parents think on this matter though. Keshia stated, "When the time is right, it'll be right. And right now the time is not right but when it is, I'll be for it 100%."

10. The Aaliyah Movie
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Aaliyah’s passing. So, where is the Aaliyah movie? Last we heard, the director of Dreamgirls, Bill Condon, was set to direct and Canadian actress Keisha Chante would play Aaliyah. Hopefully, we at least get a release date in 2011.
