#LISTEN: "THE VALLEY" BY KESHIA CHANTE

Good evening and welcome to The Rebirth, #KCRyders! After a four-year hiatus the newly anticipated single from Keshia is here! (A bit earlier than the helmed 11/11) Nevertheless, we've gotten NEW music and THAT we're pretty excited about! The song itself details a relationship in which she'd like her distant significant other to at least meet her in the middle regarding where they are.

Stream Keshia's brand new single, "The Valley" on Bet.com by clicking here.

Article  from BET.com:
Keshia Chanté is taking her career back to where it all began.

The former co-host of BET’s 106 and Park is stepping back to the mic, and this time it’s all about the music. The 28-year-old Canadian songstress and Juno Award winner has returned with her new single, “The Valley.” Produced by Stephen Rezza, the track finds Keshia Chanté employing her sensual vocals to plead for a love unreturned. Relatable to many who’ve been there, the singer notes that “The Valley” is a snapshot of early adulthood.
“Love, heartbreak, dysfunction, my 20’s are about self discovery. My sound is where angst and honesty meet,” she says.
Keshia Chanté has previously garnered Top 10 radio success in Canada, as well as rounded up awards and acclaim. She originally hit the music scene at the age of 15, and has since rounded out her career to also include a successful two-year television stint. She now says the sum of her experiences has heightened her overall craft.

"I may have been a singer for many years, but today I am an Artist."
Chanté’s upcoming release is expected in 2017, and features collaborations with singer/songwriter Tayla Parx (Alicia Keys, Firth Harmony) producer Boi-1Da (Drake, Rihanna) and a host of others.

#EXCLUSIVE: KESHIA CHANTE'S "THE VALLEY" DUE 11/11

Evening #KCRyders! We've got some exciting news to share. After what seems like forever and a day, the silence will be broken from our girl, Keshia on Friday November 11, 2016. "The Valley", her newly anticipated single (after her four-year hiatus from the music scene) is set to drop 11/11. The project itself is helmed as Keshia's FIRST worldwide release to her fan base under her independent imprint KChanteInc. set to drop later this year. Releasing right on the heels of the fifth anniversary of her last solo effort, "Night & Day", "The Valley" a ballad penned with Elle Vee, will showcase a "more mature" Chante. And if that doesn't spark your intrigue, with this single comes brand new look that showcases an edgier, confident, and subtly sensual woman that's asserting her womanhood and has finally come into her own.

You'll have to wait a few days to hear the "dawning of a new era"... but is clear that "Chante Season" has returned!

#KCQUICKNEWS: KESHIA CHANTE HINTS AT NEW MUSIC

Evening #KCRyders! "The end is near..." at least according to Keshia. After posting the new promotional photos on her respective Social Media accounts, she posted a photo to her Instagram earlier today with the cryptic message,  "the end will deliver the new breed".

She also confirmed new music on the way when tweeting to a fan on yesterday. With Hockey Wives wrapping up it's second season, this is the perfect time to strike while the iron is hot. Here's hoping we're set to go on ITunes worldwide when that new music drops!

#NEWPICS: NEW KESHIA CHANTE PROMO PHOTOS

Evening #KCRyders! Stunning new photos of Keshia surfaced on Keshia's social media accounts earlier this evening. The photos show Keshia casually relaxed in a director's chair in cascading raven-tinted curls, barefoot wearing a t-shirt dress. The simplistic nature of the shoot definitely makes us reminiscent of some of the Night & Day Era, "Day" photos shot in her former Toronto abode. Is this a tease? Or does this mean new music on the way? Either way, Keshia looks great!

Keshia Chante's Vlog: Balancing Love and Relationships.

Transcript -

"It's really hard for two people to have a crazy, hectic schedule. And for there to be a lot of pressure publicly and we're both performers. He performs. I perform. In different ways. It can be really difficult and something always have to give, right? I can do my career til I'm old. I can be eighty. I can have a record label, sign artists. I can always be in the music industry, or I can always be singing. Look at Madonna! You can sing forever. Right? But for him, within hockey you can only do hockey for so long. You can only actually play on a team for so long.

So I think something's gotta give. And even though I like to balance career and love, I think there has to be priority at the end of the day. There's always gotta be that one thing that you're always go to and I always pick family. I always pick him. I always pick whatever, wherever he is I go. I gotta turn down certain opportunities so that I have time to stay at home. It's important! Most people, you know it's like "9-5", "Monday-Friday", And you guys are both working the same hours at the same time.

But because we're so different, I have to make a point to make sure it works. He can't control his schedule, but I can. So I'm the one that's gotta give. It's very hard for two people to have crazy careers to make it work. But I think that you can if you're both paying attention to what's going on, you spend a lot of quality time with each other and you communicate."

#NEWPICS: KESHIA CHANTE ON HOCKEY WIVES 2B-13

Morning #KCRyders! Happy Friday! Just in time for the weekend,  here are new photos of Keshia appearing in Wednesday's episode of WNetwork's Hockey Wives (Episode 2B-13 "Time Out" that aired May 4, 2016). In this episode, they show some of the footage that Keshia filmed with cast mates Taylor Wink, Martine Forget and additional guest star Sarah Elms.

The footage consists of beach-side service and conversation about Taylor's art gallery.  Followed by Martine, Taylor, Keshia, and Sarah having dinner in a Teppanyaki restaurant in Mexico. The last of the footage features Keshia attempting rappelling into a water filled cave in Mexico and then Keshia leaves the trip (which explains Martine, Sarah and Taylor's trio photos on Instagram minus Keshia even better now).
