YTV's The Next Star (Season 6)

We're very excited to announce to you that YTV's The Next Star has been renewed for a sixth season! And not only that wacky antics of The Next Star judges Mark Spicoluk, Tara Oram and our own Keshia Chante are again in motion. Even though the new season doesn't air until July, there have been tons of updates, including the new host Carlos Bustamante ( from YTV's The Zone)! Keshia Chante Performs at The Youth Code Charity Event

On last Saturday the national launch of the The Youth Code
took place in Toronto, Canada. It serves to act as a source of

help and resource for at-risk kids dealing with abuse.
Keshia was among several of the celebrity attendees, and  performers at the event. Keshia offered up an intimate acoustic set with her guitarist Ricky. Visit www.theyouthcode.com/ for more information on how you can be involved with this great Non-Profit Organization.

KC QUICK NEWS: KC SUPPORTS CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS & ALBUM #4

Evening #KCRyders! As you know we strive to keep you updated with the latest new in regards to our girl KC. She busy working hard on that fourth album of hers so all, has been quiet as of late.

 Last week KC attended several Chicago Blackhawks games in support of bf, Ray Emery (#30) who acts as a goalie for the team. Amazing things transpired over that weekend, with the Blackhawks going on to win 19 straight games without a regulation loss! That's major! Album #4

Keshia posted the teaser above photo on her Instagram yesterday (@keshiachante), entitled "#4".

There is, and will continue to be a lot of mystery surrounding Keshia's fourth album. "What will it sound like?", "Who will she collaborate with?" "What will here look for her fourth era be like?", those are a lot of the questions that we've been seeing in regards to the discussions. Of course, Ms. Keshia's been quiet about the whole creative process, but here's hoping we get some kind of video diary, or 'road to... album #4' mini-doc as an added bonus on her website & new album when it's all done. One thing is for sure, I do hope everything is hammered out as far as her logo and the merch store by the time she releases her album. That would be the icing on the cake.

NEWS: 'SEARCHIN' #3 ON SINGERSROOM 'TOP R&B SINGLES OF THE WEEK'

Hope you had a great weekend #KCRyders! Evening to you all! Amidst the hussle and bussle of the start of a new work week, we managed to spot, via #KCRyder @Tremaine6 that Keshia's song 'I've Been Searchin' (a Bonus Track on the Japan Edition of "Night & Day") which debuted on the website Singersroom.com last week is in high demand. The song landed at #3 for Top R&B Singles for the week of January 14th. Incredible feat! Thus the song soared bypassing power group Desitny's Child, contending with R&B Vetern Avant, and newbie Willow Smith who hold the number 1 & 2 slots!

KC QUICK NEWS: 'I'VE BEEN SEARCHIN' GOES VIRAL

Evening #KCRyders! Now of course we were already privy to hearing this amazing bonus track from Keshia's Japan release of her 3rd album, "Night & Day", in  November 2012. Now, the song has gone viral, and heavy hitter sites like Vibe Magazine*, YouKnowIGotSoul*, and Singersroom.com* have picked up the song and premiered on their various blog sites! Amazing way to kick off the new, year don't ya think?

This only leaves us to wonder if Keshia will release an indie music video to go with... Only time will tell, she's currently in the studio working on her new LP, due out soon.
