We've been on the quiet side because all has been silent in KC-ville but a recent break in silence finally provided us with much needed updates of which you can check out below. The most important of those being Keshia's new album Night & Day AND the video she recently shot for her newest single entitled, "Shooting Star" read on below to find out the scoop:
Night & Day Update
We honestly feel your pain when it comes to waiting for Keshia's album #KCRyders and we here at LKC know just how much you're anticipating it. If you've recently read KC's What Women Want interview that Keshia both tweeted & posted about on her Facebook & Twitter page that was posted August 14th, you'll find that at the end of this posed question: Take us along the path (personal & professional) that took you where you are today. That Keshia states her album will be dropping next year. According to her Team Keshia, the next year that Keshia is speaking of in her interview is 2011. Team Keshia informed us that the What Women Want Interview took place in November of 2010, not recently as assumed. Interesting enough, Keshia's team also told us at LKC that Keshia's album is scheduled to sometime drop this fall. But we can't reveal the release date yet, so sit tight.
Shooting Star Updates
In anticipation for the release of her new single, Keshia posted two screen caps from her newest music video "Shooting Star" on her official Facebook page and Twitter. The music video is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday August 23rd, 2011. She also tweeted that Shooting Star was sent to Canadian radio yesterday (August 19).
KC on BET?
For those of you that have been diligently tweeting the VEVO link for KC's "Set U Free" video to BET, GMA and other news and video outlets it's been greatly appreciated. According to a recent tweet by Keshia, they've handed in a music video, no word on which music video it was they sent to BET, but the fact that through your hard work, we as #KCRyders have nearly accomplished a common goal, which is to help KC break into the US market with a bang! Keep up the great work on tweeting BET, GMA, Today Show, Centric VH1, and MTV, we wanna see Ms. Keshia everywhere!
