WATCH: Speak Out: The Documentary Ft. Keshia Chante & More.



Today is national "Wear Pink Day" and on today, high-schoolers and adults, kids world-wide wore pink to support the cause to 'So What, Speak Out' against bullying. Everyone at one point in time in life are faced with bullying and this documentary is something that sheds light on it in every form and it's affects. Watch as our girl Keshia Chante, and other Canadian personalities as well as students and victims who have lost someone to bullying, Speak Out about Cyber Bullying, Bullying, Bullying by Race & Sexuality and the after affects such as suicide and mental health disorders. This is something that everyone should watch, and if you have kids or classmates, watch this with them and let them know that you're always available to talk.You can view the 42 minute documentary below.

NEWS: KC To Be Apart of The "Speak Out" Documentary




April 13th is a very important day because more than 4,000 high school students in Canada will be wearing pink to stand up against bullying. It's is also a very important day because 18-year-old Alex Vander Vlugt, founder and executive director of SPEAK OUT, will launch his second film the "Speak Out" Documentary on April 13th as well, on openfilm.com. The cast of SPEAK OUT: THE DOCUMENTARY includes Juno-nominated singer Keshia Chante and pop music star Massari, Toronto Argonauts’ Defensive End Ricky Foley, stand-up comedian and MuchMusic personality Trevor Boris, motivational speaker Jesse Jones from U-ology101, motivational singer-songwriter Sara Westbrook, as well as students, teachers, parents and industry professionals. Topics explored include racism, homophobia, suicide, mental health and cyber bullying. This is definately a great cause to "Speak Out" against, and it will be interesting to see the documentary in full. You don't have to live in Canada to take a part in this great cause KC fans! You can wear pink, wherever you are on April 13th to support!
