On this day June 22nd, 2004 Keshia Chanté’s first album, Keshia Chanté was made available to fans across Canada! The album Keshia Chanté spun off several chart topping Canadian hits including the 2003 UMAC Award-Winning buzz single Shook (The Answer), Keshia’s first single Unpredictable which became an instant smash, Bad Boy, which crossed over to the US and made Keshia a Rated Next Artist on BET, Does He Love Me Featuring Foxy Brown and Let The Music Take You. Keshia achieved tremendous success with her first album with it being certified Gold by November 2004. She also secured 4 Urban Music Awards in 2004 and one in 2005, as well as a Canadian Radio Music Award and the ultimate cremé de la cremé of Canadian awards, A Juno Award in 2005 for for her self-titled album.
