Morning #KCRyders! Just in case you missed it on yesterday our girl Keshia along with another 106 & Park: The Search hopeful Kevin Thompson, stopped by BET's 106 & Park to show off their hosting chops and give reason as to why they should be chosen as the new 106 & Park hosts. UPCOMING: KC WILL PERFORM @ PRIDE TORONTO JULY 1ST!

Update: KC will be performing at the TD Wellesley Stage @ 9pm THIS SUNDAY, for Pride Toronto/Canada Day!

Morning #KCRyders! Meant to post this several weeks ago, via the blog after we posted it on the our official Tumblr page here. However, no worries, consider it a reminder. lol For those of you who will be attending Pride Toronto this year in Canada, you’re in for a special treat! Our girl KC will be performing live on the Bud Light South Stage! Originally scheduled to perform on June 30th, now according to Pride Toronto’s tweet on June 9th, KC will be performing at the official Pride Parade on July 1st! She also confirmed this last night with a tweet of reply back to #KCRyder & #KCCrewStreetTeamMember @JaneRepsU that she is indeed performing for it!

BREAKING: KESHIA CHANTE HOSTS 106 & PARK

You're probably a bit shocked at the title of this post, but believe us, when it was announced, that Keshia was co-hosting BET's 106 & Park today, with none other than Terrence J, so were we! As the announcement was so sudden, regardless, it was still a good look on Keshia's part to be on the nationally televised video countdown show apart of BET's network, scoring her first official appearance on the show, sans her heavy rotated "Bad Boy" music video on the station as a "Rated NEXT" artist back in 2004.  Hopefully next time Keshia appears we have a little more apt time to spread the word so that #KCRydersNYC can pack the place out! You already know what time it is! #ChanteSeasonHasReturned

2012 clearly has blessings with Keshia's name written all over them (Securing a deal to release her music in Japan, A new endorsement with Panasonic Canada, Judge on Season 5 of The Next Star, Hosting 106 & Park...) and we at LKC congratulate Keshia on accomplishing yet another milestone in her ever expanding career on today! You did us proud today KC!

Today is Day 2 of the six-city wide tour KC & co-judges embarked on in search of Canada's next Tween/Teen sensation for "The Next Star" Season 5! Today's stop takes them to the beautiful city of Montreal! (SN: Our girl Cat from #TeamLKC resides in that neck of the woods! ^_^ )

Hey #KCRyders! Get ready to support KC in a major way once more! According to the Official Facebook of the movie "Sunshine Sketches In A Little Town" that KC recently appeared in, it will be made for DVD release in early June!

 How exciting is that? Very if you ask me, especially if the DVD is made for shipping and purchase internationally. It will be a great day for us as #KCRyders because it'll be the first film with KC in it available for purchase! We'll keep you in the know regarding the details as they come!

Now if only Vision-TV could hop on the same wagon and get us the SOUL Series staring KC, iSH and Mpho on BET and DVD for international release? Oh yes, then we'd be in business.

KC QUICK NEWS #8: BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

Big Announcement coming soon, curious as to what it is? Well, we can't tell you we can't even drop a hint, because we don't even know. KC says, this week maybe today or tomorrow, and she's pretty good about keeping her word close to dates, so we shall see.

Hopefully, it has something to do with the US & International markets and securing a US/International Label, that'd be the best announcement ever to come from her, and would ultimately shift to the top of being one of this years highlights before the year's end. New music and or a mixtape is also a possibility as well, because she did say last year that she & her manger Jen were working on something of that affect and she was recording material for her fourth album starting in January.

 Or, it could even be that she's filming a movie... (and that can be left open to interpretation) 

It could be any of those things, but nothing would excite me more than her album being in stores in the US and her having a label her.

Today CANFAR's Youth Ambassador, Keshia Chante paid a special visit to Northern Secondary School, to talk to some very lucky and amazing students for the annual "Have A Heart" campaign week. Keshia was even entreated to a song by their CANFAR club, after which she spoke to the students and signed autographs and shirts for her #KCRyders. RANDOM: #TWITITION WE WANT @KESHIACHANTE FOR 2012 #JUNOAwards HOST & PERFORMER

Recently we started a "twitter petiton" other wise known as a Twitition for our girl Keshia in regards to The 2012 Juno Awards. Now you may or may not know that mostly rock, and rap acts dominate the Juno Awards ceremonies in general. It's really important that you sign this twitition for two reasons, one because R&B needs to be brought to the forefront of the Canadian music scene again and two because this year, The 2012 Juno Awards will be held in our Princess's hometown of Ottawa which is also Canada's Capital Region. We're trying very hard to acquire 1,000+ signatures so we need everyone's participation and don't just "RT" or "Post this on your twitter or Facebook", actually sign it!
